Finally a girly card!

Hey my friends! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We had fun watching Gavin play hockey,even though they didn't win the tournament,it was all good!

I hadn't made a girly card in sooo long! I miss making them! I used Flutter Anya which I got as a Wish Rak,isn't she cute. I used some scraps,the pic doesn't do the card much justice but hey,I ain't any expert at photography and never will be. It's all in purples and pinks,and colored her with some Promarkers

Well,this afternoon I got 2 cards ready for 3 ladies that are suppose to come to see what SU is all about on Wed. Wish me luck and I'll take pics of the cards before the class. It's so exciting!!!!

Princess Anya For Linda

It's friday again, I can't believe,but I think I say that every thursday.

So yesterday DH & I went for a nice dinner at this Italian Club that have a little buffet. We don't go there often cuz we just eat tooooo much,their lasagna just melts in your mouth. So as I am typing this post (prepost)my belly is soar! Now I don't have to eat for 2 days,lol.
It was good and nice and relaxing,we really enjoyed our dinner.

Now on to my card. I used an Anya image I had from Wish Rak,been using my images lately,I have so many of them. I don't think I'll ever see the end of my 3 photo boxes of raks. I used the same dp as the card previous and the sentiment is for a Tops Member which she became a KOPS!
My Tops group are sure keeping me busy,lol! But I love every minute of it,gives me reasons to make cards! I made the flower at the bottom with a pearl in the middle & some gemstone stickers,cute huh!

So there you have it,a card for today,an early post and have a fantastic weekend!

Spots and Stripes

Today's card is for our Godson Gavin which will be turning 8 in March. He's a real daredevil so I thought I would use Ian surfing. This is something I would see Gavin doing,he's not scared of anything,but yet,which little boy is!

I also made it with the KABOODLE DOODLES challenge in mind. It is challenge #24,SPOTS AND STRIPES.
I think it fits the criterias.

I used my CB embossing folder to make the effect of waves.
My Cricket for the # 8 and the sentiment ? and some orange brads.

More challenges

Here's Angel Anya! I just adore this image.

This card will be for 2 challenges and going out to a fellow Tops member,she was the best loser this week with a big loss and was so happy about it.

So what's that saying killing 3 birds with 1 stone!

The first challenge is for The Anyone for Anya Challenge which was to use of course an Anya image with black & white and 1 other color (except for hair & face).

So I used SU Bermuda Bay,I used 2 nesties,added some white sparkles on her wings and in her hair and halo. I added some black pearls for embellies and the prima.

The second challenge was for La-La's Weekly Wednesday Challenge #22-Fancy Folds card,you needed to make a diff fold card.Wish I had La-La Land stamps,not yet,but I'm working on it. Mine isn't extra special,I used the trifold card,but hey,I entered another challenge which is a goal of mine. And so far I've doing pretty good with the challenges

This is the inside,I had a scalloped nestie out of this scrap that I used for the inside which I can write my message inside. I'm using some scraps and sooo proud of it!

Altered booklet and a Beautiful Rak!

Look at this beautiful Vintage Album I won!

If you love vintage and haven't checked out BREE'S blog,you should head on over there! She does amazing work! Thanks again Bree,I will use it one day for something very special in my life.

Then I altered this TOPS Tracker for a peep at our weight loss group. She was my secret pal last year so I had given her one of these altered with butterfly stamps. Last tuesday she asked me if I could make her another one,which I was more than happy to do for her. I used Angel Anya,and colored her hair like her own,she has streaks like this,so she should get a good laugh out of that,but I'm sure she'll like.

I know I've been a bad blogger,just not in the swing of things. We went camping over the weekend even though we didn't have a phone out there. I told my DH,the heck with it all,let's get out here,he needed a break from the building and I got alot of zzzzs. The weather was terrible but that's ok,we got to relax.

So we got a sat phone for the rest of the summer in case the transplant team calls (hopefully it won't take all summer,but who knows). My sister in law borrowed one from her work at no cost!

How wonderful is that!!! Cause those are expensive to rent,nice to have helpful people !!!

So I hope to create this week,but who knows. I got a bit of house work done today,now I want to try and visit a few blogs,I'm so behind it's not funny. I know you all understand though,so I'll try and pop by and visit!

Here's Anya gone shopping,the pic isn't the greatest,I should of waited tomorrow to take the picture but I really wanted to show you guys this card. I think it turned out pretty cute. I even did the inside of the card too,I have tons of dp so why not try to use as much as I can.

My first Nestie

I played with my nesties!!!!! I couldn't emboss cuz I don't have the mat and of course the local scrap store didn't have any in stock. So I'll have to wait to emboss unless you girls have some kind of a trick.

Angel Anya was the first image for the nesties,I love angels and I had this paper on my table so went from there.
The pic isn't the best,but I added stickles for the halo and wings,I popped up the sentiment which is from WOJ,put corner punches at the top of the dp,used MS border punch and added some bling at the top.

I really like how it turned out! What do you think?
Calling for beautiful weather on thursday again,but I have to get a gastroscopy in the am,so if all is ok I'll be good to go for a walk after dinner,if I need some banding done,I'll be resting for a whole day,it hurts the inside when they band.

Anyways,hope you all have a terrific day,and I'll be back to play with my nesties...I'm so HAPPY I got these,I've been Thanking my hubby all day!!!!

Anya's in Da House!!!

Anya's in da house!!!! I got my first Anya stamp,of course it had to be the angel one!! And it won't be my last one,I just adore The Greeting Farm stamps,they are just too adorable.

I colored her with my SU watercolor crayons and the rest is pretty simple to see.

Feeling a bit better today,but I'm staying away from food as much as I can. I did leave a message at my Hep's office and of course the secratary called back when I was gone for my monthly bloodwork. So I will keep on trying to get a hold of her. If he can give me something else as meds,hopefully it will be better. That's all I need,is to get sick with an infection,then they would delay me on the list. Oh I just don't want to think about it,so frustrating to be sick!!!! But,like you all told me, the Good Lord will take care of it all!
