Hoping to see some Beautiful Butterflies Soon!

I just had to try to make one of these,cause you know me and butterflies! I saw them on Roxy's blog which she had a link to where to get the tutorial,so away I went to Bronwyn's blog's. My she does beautiful work! Do drop by to see her work.

So today as I have nothing to do,well I would have lots of housework to do but decided to play instead. So I think I will make some of these beauties in different colors and embossing folders to keep on hand. They are very small,they are made from the SU Beautiful Butterflies dies,oh I just love it!!!

I sponged it in Old Olive,one of my fav colors (green) and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes mounted on the SU punch.Oh and the brad is also SU.

I found a new Bear challenge

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!
Mine was quiet as usual,never anything exciting in my life,lol. But I did manage to make a card for a challenge.

It's a challenge I found through Cherie's blog.
TEDDY'S STAMPERS
The challenge was to make a card with a Teddy Bear and using Red & White colors. I've had this bear for a long time and haven't used it in forever. So one with this image I went,added the MS border punch,the MS big punch heart in Red And White and used the tiny hearts from the border punch to make the trail of hearts on the side.
I also used so glossy accents on his eyes and nose. The XOXO is a dollar stamp from Michael's,oh it is an easel card again. Love 'em!

I was telling my sis in law today,in 8 months it's Christmas! Yikes!!! Why is it when we get older,time just flies by??? Hope to get more energy so I can clean some windows tomorrow and make at least one card!

Sitting Chloe

Hey there! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Mine was quiet as usual,but I did manage to make one of my fav type of card,an easel card.
I used Sitting Chloe which I won from PINK GEM,she is so cute. I used 2 MS punches and I had these felt flowers from a long time ago,added some pearls on it and the rest is pretty simple.

I must go for an ultrasound tomorrow morning,(monday morning that is),no no I'm not pregnant,lol.
They want to check my spleen and liver to see how much enlarged they are. I have pains on both sides at times,so they will be checking for ascites (bloating in the abdomen) which isn't good. They had to give me the earliest appt of course,6:45 am,don't they know I am just falling asleep by then,lol. Oh well,I'll just come back to bed afterwards. I best get to bed now.

So it's monday again and it'll be friday again. So have a good day!

Just cute bears Challenge

Happy Spring for a Just Cute Bears Challenge.
The challenge was to use flowers,and of course a stamp of any kind with a bear.

The stamp is from Cuddly Buddly and it is called Chin Up.
From the pic,the colors don't show well,but the cs is from SU in colors (orange) and the dp is from a pile of paper I didn't know I had,lol. I added some primas with embellies and that's pretty much it.

photographer,lol. I just wanted to show you that it is an easel card.

Willow having a cup of coffee

The picture really doesn't do this card justice unfortunately. But here goes, I made this card for the
WOJ CHALLENGE which was coffee cream colors with a WOJ image of course.

I was making this card with my wonderful sister in mind. We haven't gotten together in awhile and I miss her dearly. The colors really didn't come out right in the pic but IRL it's really nice. I used a dark beige for the card base,then mounted the musica sheet paper onto black. The image is colored in the browns and beiges on the nesties and the flowers,brown on black with MS branches the same color as the caramel nestie. And the sentiment is embossed with black glitter which reads "You're never more than a thought away".

Even though my sis and I live in the same city,I'll be mailing this to her for a little surprise to make a coffee date with her. I'm sure she'll be pleased.

Humble Pie Challenge

I got to play tonight,there's a few challenges I wanted to make and with another easel card,I will be playing the
HUMBLE PIE CHALLENGE. The challenge is to make an easel card,we all love these cards,i've seen them in all sizes,this one is a 5"x5". I didn't add a sentiment cause I don't know who I will give it to and when so no sentiment for now.

I used Little Mimosa,an image I rec'd in WR,I just had to use her right away. She's so sweet! And the colors,well I can't wait for spring to get here,so bright yellow and lilac it was. The butterfly is a punch from MS and so is the border punch I've used for the inside of the card which I also attached a lilac ribbon. And one of my fav embellies...pearls.

WOJ challenge

Good day my friends!

Today's card is for the WOJ challenge .
I made an easel card,just love them and this week's challenge is another great sketch so why not play right!

Kaboodle Doodles Challenge

I needed a B'day card for today and saw a Colour Challenge on Kaboodle Doodles blog. The colours are Pink,Lemon,Green & Plum.
I made an easel card,I used Perfect Plum ink for the cake and sentiment,the green I used is kinda flashy,but it's a B'day card,it's suppose to be flashy and happy right. I used 2 diff MS border punches and added a big green prima with a button brad to fit in the flower. I also added some soft pink pearls and some plum bling.

Easel cards

Hi there everyone!

I just had to make one of these after seeing them on so many blogs. I love the fold!
The Valentine one was REALLY EASY,no stamping,I just used some DP which I had rec'd in a blog I won. You can't tell from the pic,but the red hearts and words are really shiny,super nice.
I used a heart brad to hold the card.

The other card is from the SU set called Butterly of Happiness,The sentiment says "Spread your love everywhere you go". I used Blue Bayou cs and ink. I popped up the tiny butterfly at the bottom and there is a blue prima in the middle of the 2 punched flowers. I also added some pearls.

I really enjoyed making these,I like different folds and should check out more of them.
