A new stamp !

Well we had a great day stamping,card making I should say!
I rec'd 2 Sara Kay stamps that I had ordered from Sweet 'n Sassy, isn't she adorable!!!!

We yapped and made cards from 8:30 to 3:30,I made 6 cards! Woohoo!!!! We talked about all you great ladies!!!
All the new stamps we would like to get,which is impossible
for me cause they're are too many of them!
We talked about the miserable weather we've been having,
talked about my hubby's b'day thursday. We are a whole bunch of us that are going out for dinner to celebrate his 4oth b'day! I feel so old,I'm 6 years older than him!!!
Oh it's just a number right,lol!!!

Watermelon,yum yum!!!!

Hi everyone,I've been busy,tired,taking care of hubby,went camping,blah blah blah! No time to stamp,I have to get more organized,and try to get up in the morning.Maybe I'd be more productive. If only I would sleep normally,that's another story.

Anyways,this is set I bought from a fellow blogger. It's an old SU set,but I like it alot,and I love watermelon,one of my fav fruit. Not the best pic,but I like how it turned out.

I put the image on a couple of layers,used the swiss dot folder that Deborah sent me (Thanks Deb) and added a ribbon same color as the pink in the watermelon and popped up the sentiment.

It's a card that could be used for many occasions!

I'm so anxious for tomorrow,tired or not, I'm off to my niece's place (SHANNON) ,were going to make cards all day!
So she'll have no reason not to post!! Right Shannon,lol! We haven't done this in such a long time!
It'll be a wonderful day I'm sure,looking forward to it!

A card and some Happy Mail

For the card,the image was from a swap,isn't he cute soaking up in the tub. I had a tub die cut,so thought i'd use it for this card. I used a lot of stickles for the bubbles and around the image and sentiment,which the sent is a $ stamp.And I also used a fiskars dry emboss for the card .

The happy mail is a blog I won at Stamping with Denise!!! Isn't she wonderful,look at all the SU goodies,woohoo!!!! Thanks a bunch sweetie!!

Up Up and away for a Happy B'day!

I have a few B'days this month,so here is one of the cards I'll be using. It is another image from Nicola,Thanks again girl!

I used some felt flowers which I also rec'd in a RAK,colored my image with SU markers and added some silver pearl liquid on the flowers and the corners.The sentiment is stamped in white and is from the Birthday Wishes set from SU.


Hubby is still getting better! Woohoo!!!

My weekend was sunny!!!! YAY!!!! Hubby is doing a BIT better,not moving too much,but at least it's getting a bit better.

Sorry for not posting a card,didn't do much on the weekend,I had intentions of coloring images,but I only did one and didn't get around to put it on a card. No time to stamp much lately!

A baby card

Well this is a new set I had rec'd from Flourishes a while back and just didn't use yet. Well I tried something,I'm not too pleased with it,I'll have to play around with it. I had seen a card on a blog with this image and fell in love with it. Do you think I can remember who's blog...nope. So if you know anyone that has this I would love to see some cards with it.

We're off to the camper,crossing my fingers all the way there for a nice weekend,lol. I'm bringing images to color and need to make cards next week.

Sorry for being MIA!

Hi everyone,sorry for not posting,but with hubby still not well,I must do some of his work and bring him to the chiro and the massage therapist and on and on. But I'll survive,lol!
He was feeling better yesterday,but today is not a good day.
Guess it will take time. So now he is sleeping so I made a quick card. The image was givin' to me by my sweet friend Lorie,it was already colored so how easy it was to make this card! Thanks Lorie!
Thought it would make a nice invitation for someone special for dinner!
I'm going to try to make more cards while he's sleeping and try to get ahead. I have a few b'day cards to make so off I go!
