Christmas Tilda

Here's Tilda ringing her Christmas bell. I think all Tilda images are so darn cute even though she doesn't have a mouth!

I colored her with my SU markers and put her on a pink bg then put it on a snowflake dp. Used a MS punch on the side and popped dot the bigger bell as the sentiment which I added the Peace word on. And added a SU ribbon.

Kinda cute for a non Christmas color card!

Yesterday we went to our Godson's Christmas concert at school,he's 6 yrs old. He lives 45 mins away from here. When we peaked in his class to let him know we we're there,he was so happy,the smile on his face said it all!!!

They sang a french song that was so cute,and of course he was the best singer of the class!!! After the concert which finished at 2,his mom let us take him out of class and we took him to Tim Horton's for a Hot Chocolate,just us 3,he's such a great kid.He is the one in one of my previous posts with a cast on his arm. His cast is now off,he's ready to brake something else,lol.He is such a daredevil,aren't all boys though.

Well there's only a week to Christmas,I can't believe it! So I should get a bit of baking done.So I'm off to attempt,lol!

Rak and weight loss update!

Last night was weigh in night!!!! I LOST 2 POUNDS!!!! Which means I'm missing .4 of a pound to my weight goal. It was so funny,the weight recorder was saying,is there anything you can take off,go for a pee,lol! It's all good,I'll be extra good again this week,to take that .4 off. The group are all rooting for me because I would be the only member to attain my goal for 2008,but I must reach it before the end of the month. So I'm hoping and praying that I can eat sensibly and do my exercises as I did this week.

I'm also motivated because we are going to JAMAICA for 2 weeks on January 9th. So I need to lose a couple of more pounds below my goal even because I always gain when we go away. That's what holidays are for right? But I will dedicated to do the aqua exercises and take lots of walks on the beach to try to gain less this time. We'll see how that works out.

Beautiful Christmas Raks!

This cute little treat package is from Rita from Rita's Little Corner. The holiday lineup image is too cute and look at the package she created.



It is called "Snowman Soup",it contains,hot choc,mini marshmallows,a hershey kiss and a candy cane. And the other little treat is Christmas M&M's!!!! Yummy!!! This is too cute to open up,I think I'll just keep it,hopefully my DH won't get into it,lol!

Yesterday wasn't a good day for me,this sure cheered me up

Such a sad day

As I couldn't sleep this morning,I got up to check my emails,in shock learned that a fellow blogger JOANNE http://stamps4sanity.blogspot.com/ has passed away! As I am typing this in tears,I just can't believe it,I am so much in pain. Even though I never met Joanne,I visited her blog almost everyday as she did mine. She had health problems but I didn't know to what extent.
Joanne was so kind so thoughtful,she sent me an encouragement card for my weight loss a few weeks ago which I keep on top of my fridge.So Joanne you will keep encouraging me,cause it ain't leaving that spot. You will be forever in my heart,thoughts and prayers. And for your family and close friends,I hurt for you tremendously!
I will miss you forever JOANNE!

Dots challenge!

Well I don't do challenges much,but I was making this card,winter theme with the swirl CB background and then I added some blue and pink rhinestone dots for the snow (who said snow had to be white,lol) and bigger blue ones for embellishments.
Yesterday's challenge at Created by Courtney's blog was to do something with dots,so I thought,why not enter for the heck of it. It's all fun right! So here is my dot version!!!

In need of prayers!

For those of you who know my niece Shannon,Tyrymom stamps alot,well her fiance lost one of his cousin yesterday. He died of a massive heart attack at the age of 37. I'm sure she needs our love right now. It is so hard when something like this comes unexpectedly! Especially at such a young age.

So Shannon,I will keep you and Mark in my prayers. I will also pray for Anna,I will keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers as well.
