I would like to Thank You all for being so excited for my transplant news. I read every comment to my husband and he was so happy for me,he said,wow! I know you talk about your blogging friends all the time but these ladies are amazing. Even though you have never met them,it seems like they are all your BEST FRIENDS! And he is so right!!! So Hugs and Kisses to all of you!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful V Day,ours was kinda ruined.
We had planned a pasta dinner at home,well at 4:10 pm,one of the tenants (my DH is a super intendent in a 49 unit apt building) knocks on the door to say he had left and came back home to a disaster in his unit. He had left running water in his bathroom sink with a towel in it. So can you imagine the mess...gallons of water not only in his unit,but in the unit below him.

It is now 6:05 and my DH is still there cleaning. I feel so bad for him! He's the type of guy that he would give his shirt off his back,always helping out someone and he gets this back...it's a good thing I made him a little Valentine surprise last night. I had hidden some chocolates all over in the apt and he had to find them,it was in a romantic way....he had so much fun and it was so funny watching him find them. He looked like a kid on a Easter Egg Hunt!!!

I love him so much!!!!! I'm blessed to have him with me!!!

EXCITING NEWS!!!!!!

Hello dear friends,
No I havent made a design team,lol,that is so funny!
For those of you that have been following my blog,you know that I have been on the transplant list since June 4/07 for a new liver.
Well last night I rec'd a very exciting phone call. My hepathologist's secratary called to inform me that my specialist Dr. Ghent from London where my transplant will take place,called and asked him to call me to let me know...that I am now the 2nd patient on the list!!!!!!!!!! So that it shouldn't be much longer,finally,it will get done!
So I ask all of you my wonderful blog friends and all your friends to keep me in your prayers!
There are so many emotions going through my head right now. I'm happy,i'm anxious,excited,
scarred,and most of all,sad that someone will have to loose their life in order for me to get their liver. My niece will keep you posted when it does happen,it can still be awhile,but there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Simple "V" card

It's hard to create when you have no mojo isn't it!!! I had to make a card for my wonderful DH,but just couldn't get into it. I almost went and bought one but then I thought,I can't do that.

He deserves a hand made one from me. I'm sure he will compliment me on it even though I don't like the way it turned out. But you should see the first one I made,it went straight to the garbage. Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine Weekend!!!

I'm going to make dinner,his favorite is pasta,so we'll have spaghetti and meatballs and maybe some garlic bread and of course some kind of chocolate desert!!! Can't wait til saturday!!!!

Beautiful flowers and a short post

I got a beautiful bouquet today from my brother in law,isn't it gorgeous! I should of taken a better pic of it,but my head is pounding so this will be another short post. Thanks Grats,this will brighten my table for a couple of weeks for sure!

I rec'd a gift card from Michael's for my B'day tomorrow (the 7th)from my wonderful hubby, he is suchsweetheart,Thanks Al!!! So I bought an Inkadinkado set called All things grow with love. I had to make a card so I went with a simple one,can't go wrong with black and white,right.

Changito says Hello!

Well it's already hump day,7:00 am and couldn't sleep. So I came to check my emails and did a little bit of blog surfing and remembered that I had made a card yesterday.

So here it is,Changito stamped on a nestie that I rec'd in the mail (wish I could affored those...maybe one day),I punched out 2 flowers and added purple glitter on it and also on Changito's dots.The ribbon doesn't look like it matches,but it does IRL and I added a little Hello sentiment at the bottom.

Last night was weigh in night. I am happy to say 3 pounds of the 5 I had gained on holidays came off!!! Yay!!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful wednesday! I plan on going back to bed after this post and hopefully stamp today. I need to make my hubby a V card!!!

Canoe by my valentine???

I made this little valentine card out of scraps. I CB the navy CS with the hearts and the rest is pretty self explanatory. It will be a short post,cause I am feeling blah. So til next time my friends!!!
