B'day card and weight discouragement!!

Here's a bright and colorful B'day card. I need a few of them for this month,so this will be one of them. I have to stamp some images for SCS Wish Rak. I've rec'd so many of them and haven't return as much as I should. So this afternoon I plan on working on that.

It's a work load in a half,but so much worth it I find. I love getting diff images.

You must of noticed that I haven't been talking about my weight loss anymore...well I had a hard time getting back on track since my holiday in Jan. I wanted to give it all up,got discrouraged,but my DH is helping me,he had a good pep talk with me and he's so right. Why give it all up,I worked so hard to get where I am,so just get back on the train and plug away!!!!

I was .4 of a pound away from my goal in December and now I'm 5.4 away from my goal. So I will work at it one pound at a time.

Thankful for...

I'm Thankful for all my bloggin buddies,you make me hanging on!!!

I can't wait for Spring like so many of you!! Here is another image from Wish Rak.The pic looks all funny at the bottom of her pants,but it's stickles that added,it looks good IRL. I added the MS butterfly punch in 3D and 2 primas and the sentiment is an old dollar stamp from Michael's. I used the CB folder for the card itself.

I had a pretty quiet weekend as usual. Not much happening in this household,lol.

Well,today would of been my Mother's 80th B'day. So this morning the first thing I did was sing her Happy B'day. She was the BEST MOTHER anyone could ask for. We miss her dearly!
She has joined my Dad in Heaven since 1992,I can't believe it has been that long.

So Mom have a Good Day with Dad up in Heaven and know that we are always thinking of both of you! xoxo.

It's all about carrotts

I rec'd this cute image through Wish Rak with these darling little punched out carrotts.Aren't they cute,so I used my MS leaf punch to add some greenery and had the carrott dp and ribbon.

So that's alot of carrotts going on. Like my mom use to tell me,eat all your carrotts,it's good for your eyes. Well Mom,I guess I didn't eat my carrotts cause my eyes are getting worse as I get older,...maybe I should start eating carrotts,lol!

Happy B'day Dawson!

One of my great nephews will be turning 2 this month! Isn't he a cutie patootie! He loves Tonka trucks and tractors so I'm sure he will enjoy this card. I really like how it turned out and I'm sure he will love it.

I can't believe that it's already thursday!!!!! We just turned Monday and Friday is upon us once again. Is it cause I'm getting older???

OH,WE HAD A GOOD NEWS YESTERDAY!!! MY HUSBAND'S BOSS TOLD US THAT WE GO FOR THE TRANSPLANT,THEY WILL SUPPLY US WITH AN APARTMENT THE WHOLE TIME WE NEED TO BE THERE AT NO COST!!!! Isn't that awesome,a big weight off our shoulders,we we're so happy when he told us that.

So things are coming together,now if only I can get the call! It is so nerve wrecking!!!

Note from Ebony

It was beautiful and sunny here in Northern Ontario,so I felt like springy card. The bg dp I bought from Michael's,it's got punched out flowers here and there,I found it cool. Then I used SU dp on top of the pink. I had colored the image first and since there was just a tad of pink in the image I decided to use pink for the card.

Anyways,I think she turned out pretty cute and I can use this for any occasion.

Hope you all had a wondeful weekend,I slept alot,was coming down with a cold,which I must stay away from. Sinus headache and soar throat,I had some chicken noodle soup and lots of liquids,and feel a bit better today.
