Must go away to find some sun

My oldest brother and his wife have finally decided to take a trip next winter. It ll be their first time in the hot sun!
So I thought I d make them a card. I had the bikinibella image from a swap which i didnt get to use yet. I sponged some summer yellow to make a border,the dp is from Me & my big ideas which i got at Michaels for dirt cheap then used the scalloped nestie CB with the flowered folder,then the oval nestie for bella. Added some bling,one as a belly button ring,hehe,one on her bag and 3 on the oval image.

The sentiment was kinda big and was added at the end,I could of put it inside the card but i thought id stick it there.
I m sure they will love it.

Have a super day,here,the weather is still miserable. Feels like fall...already,and we didn t have any summer. Oh well theres always next year!

A wedding card

Someone asked me to make a wedding card with the colors bl,wh and silver.

I had no wedding images at all. So I came up with this card. I used nesties for the Love sentiment on white and mounted on black,I used a CB folder on the silver dp with a MS punch. I used a heart punch in bl & wh for the littel hearts with the couple's initials,and added a bl ribbon with 2 silver hearts.

So I told the lady if she didn't like it she didn't have to take it, she says are you crazy...that is one beautiful card!! They will "LOVE" it I'm sure.

So she was happy,made me happy!

Have a super duper weekend! I'm not feeling the greatest,having problems with a kidney infection and getting acid reflux attacks even though i have no more gall bladder. Take care of your livers cause when they don't work properly...it is no fun whatsoever!!!

Simple B'day Card

Here's a simple B'day card. Terrible picture though but it's very pretty IRL,the primas do match the dp,lol.
Another to have on hand.

It's going to rain today I'm sure. Haven't gone out for my walk due to the cloudy sky. But that's ok,i'll take a break for today.

Someone asked me to make a b'day card for her cousin,so I will be doing that instead of walking. Hopefully it'll turn out nice,if so I'll show you tomorrow.

Already Hump Day...time just flies by,summer is almost over and we barely had any hot temps which I love . Oh well,I'm off to make my card.

Me made a tri-shutter card!!!!

I can't believe I made one of these. I've seen all over and said,I just have to try and make one,if it doesn't turn out,I'll just chuck it. Well by golly,I amazed myself! I think it turned out pretty good. I used the tutorial from SCS,such a great one,always are. I had the SU dp forever hiding at the bottom on my paper so I finally used it.The sentiment is from Inkadinkado and voila!!! Oh and I added some Liquid Pearls (gold pearl) on the scallop.

One more for my stash,but I'm so proud of it,I don't think it'll stay there for very long. (he!he!)

Let's go to the hop,oh baby,let's go to the hop....Remember that song??? Well my friend Anne was invited to a little 50's party with some of her old friends. She didn't really want to go cause they are to dress up and she had nothing to wear and couldn't find anything. So one of her neighbours brought her a skirt with the poodle,so now she's all into it. It's happening next weekend,so I made her this card to wish her lots of fun.

It's from the 50's set from Pink Cat Studio,turned out pretty cute. I'm sure she'll get a kick out of it.

Well rain again today,I think the sun refuses to come our way. What a depressing summer this has been!!!
Better days ahead I'm sure (I'm hoping anyways).

I rec'd...

Look what I rec'd in the mail...remember the new friend I made that told me about the butterfly being the symbol for the transplant. Well to my surprise,she got me this gold chain and the butterfly is white & yellow gold. The picture doesn't give it much justice. It is so beautiful!!!!!

So I sent her a few butterfly cards since we met online,so I didn't want to send another one so I made this one,it's from the bugs set (SU). The paper is from my friend Chris,it's so gorgeous and I used some nesties and sparkles.
I hope she likes it.








I gave up on blueberry picking,after a few attempts,rain & bugs we're a good excuse to buy them instead of picking them. My hubby and I really enjoy picking them,but everytime we'd go we'd get caught in the rain and when it wasn't raining there was so many bugs,I just couldn't stand it. So we gave up,lol!
