Finally a non Christmas Card!!!

Well it sure feels good making a non Christmas card. As much as I love making them,it was too many for one month,I'll have to get ahead next year so I don't run into that problem again.

I don't know about you my friends,but I ate toooo much over the holidays!! I had promised myself that I wouldn't,but I didn't listen to my old self! So now I must pay the price,I'll have to work it off,it's ok,as long as I catch myself right away.

So any big plans to ring in the New Year??? I can't believe it,another year gone by! We are going to my oldest brother's place for dinner and then we're just going to ring in 2009 with our family. It should be fun,I'm always the first one to leave,it gets very tiring for me,but I can't pass it,I love being with my sister and 3 brothers.

Anyways,the card is an image I had rec'd,I think she is called Ebony,sorry if I'm wrong. I used a Fiskars Punch (Love my punches) and added some primas that my DH bought me today,(aren't they pretty) and used some pearl for her necklace and a bead in her hair and added some MS pearls at the top of the Inkadinkado sentiment.

Happy Birthday Sis!!!

Well,I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Ours was very nice,quiet,but nice. We went for dinner at my nieces on the 25th,which I gained like 3 pounds,so obviously the food was more than delicious! But that's ok,it was well worth it and will come off fast I hope!

Today is my Sister's Birthday!!!! I won't say how old she is cause she doesn't like to get older,lol.

Still don't have enough Christmas cards,how 'bout u?

Well it's almost here,Christmas that is, and I'm still making cards. I'm sure i'm not the only one,lol.
My DH and I went for a walk in the mall on saturday,we've been done for a little while,but we still like to be in the hussle and bussle of the season. I miss working for that,as much as I was tired and exhausted when I got home,I loved the fast pace,the happy and not so happy customers.
It brought back alot of memories.
I'm making a couple more baking recipes on monday and next thing we know,it'll be all over with.

Well on with my Tilda card. The dp is from last year SU xmas paper,and used my MS punch and added a little angel brad at the top.
Hope you are all ready for the big day,cause weather or not,it'll be here before we know it!

I rec'd some happy mail yesterday which made me sad and happy.

I rec'd a beautiful Hanna Christmas from our Angel Joanne who passed away last week!

She was so talented,so kind and thoughtful!

The Hanna in her exercise outfit,(don't know what she is called) is another creations by Joanne for encouraging me with my weight loss.

Joanne,I know you are now looking over us.Youcame into my life for a reason,but don't know why God came and take you.He must have plans for you I'm sure. I will treasure your cards and keep you in my heart. I will also keep your family and friends in my thoughts and prayers through this difficult time and season.

Christmas Tilda

Here's Tilda ringing her Christmas bell. I think all Tilda images are so darn cute even though she doesn't have a mouth!

I colored her with my SU markers and put her on a pink bg then put it on a snowflake dp. Used a MS punch on the side and popped dot the bigger bell as the sentiment which I added the Peace word on. And added a SU ribbon.

Yesterday we went to our Godson's Christmas concert at school,he's 6 yrs old. He lives 45 mins away from here. When we peaked in his class to let him know we we're there,he was so happy,the smile on his face said it all!!!

They sang a french song that was so cute,and of course he was the best singer of the class!!! After the concert which finished at 2,his mom let us take him out of class and we took him to Tim Horton's for a Hot Chocolate,just us 3,he's such a great kid.He is the one in one of my previous posts with a cast on his arm. His cast is now off,he's ready to brake something else,lol.He is such a daredevil,aren't all boys though.

Well there's only a week to Christmas,I can't believe it! So I should get a bit of baking done.So I'm off to attempt,lol!
