Sad news...

I learned from Rita that one of our beloved stamping friend has passed away yesterday.
She was Deb Golan from Stamping on the mountain. I met Deb through bloggin,she was intrigued with a quote I had on my home page...Don't bring your organs to heaven,Heaven knows we need them here. We started chatting and we're both in need of a liver. Except Deb had so many other health issues.
She always told me not to give up and to hug my liver,Deb in your honor,I will do just that.
May you rest in peace,I will miss so much!!!!

Watermelon anyone?

Isn't she a cutie! I got from wish rak,i know she's from High Hopes but don't remember the name.
I had this dp with watermelon & sunshine,the perfect paper for this image. Don't know if you can see my little dragonfly i added ,got those at the dollar store.

Well it's been gloomy and rained this afternoon,so it was time to finish this card from yest and i made another one which i can post tomorrow!
Wow! Two cards in one day,haven't done that in awhile.

Helped hubby with an apt that got empty yest. Yuck,I do the cupboards and windows. I'll finish off the windows tomorrow cause I've done enough for today.

I finally made a card!

I can't believe I finally made a card,it's been so long! Just haven't been in the mood or no mojo like you guys say it.
Things haven't changed,haven't heard anything from the transplant team...it gets very frustrating,disappointing,discouraging,so many emotions going on.
But I keep my Faith in God,and know HE will make it happen when the time is right.

I hope to visit some of your blogs over the weekend. As for the card,her name is Emmy from Cuddly Bubbly,I used one of nesties,added some primas & added part of a dollar stamp from Michael's.

My weight loss pics!

Wow,I haven't posted in a long time. These pics are my before and after since I lost my weight to goal. A total of 37 pounds since Sept. 07.

So I'm pretty proud of myself. The before pic was taken in one of the casinos in Las Vegas and by after pic was taken at home on sunday,so it's really at the weight I am now.

I have made a couple of cards to give to my fellow Tops friends but silly me forgot to take some pics.

We have had beautiful weather in the last few days,so I am taking advantage of walking and riding in my Mustang,top down of course,lol! Just had to rub that in!

So I'm still kickin' around waiting for my call. We decided to no longer go to our camper so we don't miss the call if and when it happens. Continue the prayers please so I can get this transplant asap.

Short post

Hi folks,sorry for not posting regularly. It's been a tough couple of weeks lately.

I didn't know where I was going with this card,not the greatest,but at least I made one to show.

The sat phone we got lent to us for the camp didn't work. So I guess we won't be camping much this summer. It'll be hard on DH,cause he really enjoys going out there.But without a phone for the hospital to be able to reach me,I can't take the chance of missing the call. I've been waiting too long! It was 2 years on June 4th that I was put on the transplant list. I just can't believe how fast it went but yet soooo slow!

I guess it'll come one day,I must have Hope & Faith!
