A b'day rak and a b'day card which I made

The first card is from Rita,she sent me this B'day rak and I just love it!!! Look at all those beautiful shoes,a girl never has enough of them right! You can't see from the pic,but there's glitter on the shoes and the dp! It is just beautiful Rita,Thanks a Bunch sweetie!!!!

This is a B'day card to have on hand,it seems that whenever I need one I'm always rushing to make one. So I think I'll try to make a couple to have ready to go.
The stamps are from Inkadinkado,I've been getting quite a few sets at Michael's with the 40% off coupon in the flyer every week. and the punch is Fiskars and the scalloped square is from Wish Rak,I hope to get them one day,but right now it's not in my budget.

Wonderful day spent with my sis!

This card is really plain and simple but I felt like I needed bright colors to lift me up. I had this Best Friend ribbon which I had picked up at Michael's (on sale of course) and thought it was the perfect color for uplifting.The stamp is from Indadinkado.

So yesterday was a wonderful but tiring day. My sister was off and so she called me to go for coffee,we went at 8:30 AM! Lol,I'm not used to getting up early,but for my sister,I would do anything to spend time with her. So we went to Tim's for coffee and yacked waiting for the mall to open at 9:30. The we went to the Buck store,she was looking for embellishments for some layouts she was doing. She is a wonderful poetic person. She has written lots of poems and is now making an album out of them.
Then we went to Michael's,the Dollorama,Zellers...we had a blast.
It's just too bad we don't do this more often,but now we're goint to try and do it every 2nd friday on her day off.

Then she took me out for lunch,we had an awesome time,I love spending time with my only sister,she's the BEST!!!!

For my HONEY!!

This is a card I made for my Honey for him to read when I have my transplant.

Just to let you know what a wonderful hubby I have. He has been by my side through every drs appt,through every surgery,through every bad mood I have been in. Supporting me,taking care of me,spoiling me,bringing my spirits up when I am down.
So the sentiment inside is gold embossed and says "You're simply the best".
I also wrote him a nice letter,a sappy one,he likes that kinda stuff! That's why i love him so much. I believe he was sent to me from my parents up above!

And the reason I chose to emboss in gold is because he has a heart of gold!

Hot Chocolate on a cold night

Here is Willow w Hot Chocolate. Nothing like a hot cup of hot chocolate on a snowy night like tonight! Which we heading out for coffee at Tim Horton's but I might have a hot chocolate instead. I've been so cold all day long. Just can't seem to warm up except when I'm in bed.

I just adore this daisybella image,I got them from SCS and have used it many times. Yes another Thank You card,in lilac this time. I'm wishing for spring...wishful thinking,won't be happening for a while here,we've had so much snow lately!!!

Sure hope you are having a super saturday,I'm going to check out Michael's to see if I can get some deals!!! I went in on thurs and they had some Valentine stock at 60% off, so I got some K&Company Sweet Talk dp. I want to make a beautiful card for my DH for him to read while I'll be having my surgery. So I'll have to do something extra special,not sure what yet but when I make it and if I'm happy with it I will show you guys.

Fluttering butterflies!

Beautiful butterflies!!! The butterflies are one stamp from Inkadinkado set called Patterned Bugs which I got from some Valentine money. And the sentiment is from the SU set

this is what came out. Not the greatest but I just didn't have it in me last night. Don't you just hate it when you plan on making cards but your mind is just blank.

Oh well,at least I made this one,better than nothing.

Today was a hectic day,trying to multi task doesn't work for me,lol. I put in 3 loads of laundry,made a casserole and stuck it in the oven,talked on the phone with my niece while folding the laundry once it was dry,checked some blogs,gee I'm exhausted!!!

I'm going to try and make a few cards tonight,DH is watching his guy shows,so I can come in my little room and have some fun,I hope I can get something done to post !

Can you believe it's already thursday!!!

I had my hair colored and cut yesterday.

I feel like I need to do so many things before I get the call.

I don't see myself in the hospital with my roots showing and long sweaty hair. So I had to get them cut. I'm sure I'll have to go again before I get called,but just in case it comes early,I'll be all ready. I hope you don't get sick of me talking about this,lol.

I emailed my co-ordinator yest.,asking if they let me know when the other person gets his transplant. She said that I could get done before because we are not the same size people and it all depends on which liver they get first. So who knows when it will get done. Could be next week,could be in 3 to 4 months. All I know is that there is HOPE!!!!!!

I was in a Thank You mood

I finally used this image for the first time! It's terrible how you buy new stuff and forget you have it and don't use it!
So I'm going to try (not promise) to make a card with stamps I haven't used yet at least once a week. So many stamps,not enough energy or time to use them.

I will be needing lots of Thank You cards in the future,so last weekend I made a few of them. Here are 2,I love this set.

Doesnt take long to color the images and they make cute cards.

I had to go to the dentist for a cleaning today...she told me to floss more! Ya ya,I always have good intentions but don't do it often enough. So to keep my teeth in my mouth,I guess I'll floss more,heck,it only takes a minute of my time.

I mailed 2 cards today and forgot to take pics,I hate when I do that!

I know you talk about your blogging friends all the time but these ladies are amazing. Even though you have never met them,it seems like they are all your BEST FRIENDS! And he is so right!!! Hope you all had a wonderful V Day,ours was kinda ruined.
We had planned a pasta dinner at home,well at 4:10 pm,one of the tenants (my DH is a super intendent in a 49 unit apt building) knocks on the door to say he had left and came back home to a disaster in his unit. He had left running water in his bathroom sink with a towel in it. So can you imagine the mess...gallons of water not only in his unit,but in the unit below him.

It is now 6:05 and my DH is still there cleaning. I feel so bad for him! He's the type of guy that he would give his shirt off his back,always helping out someone and he gets this back...it's a good thing I made him a little Valentine surprise last night. I had hidden some chocolates all over in the apt and he had to find them,it was in a romantic way....he had so much fun and it was so funny watching him find them. He looked like a kid on a Easter Egg Hunt!!!

I love him so much!!!!! I'm blessed to have him with me!!!

EXCITING NEWS!!!!!!

Hello dear friends,
No I havent made a design team,lol,that is so funny!
For those of you that have been following my blog,you know that I have been on the transplant list since June 4/07 for a new liver.
Well last night I rec'd a very exciting phone call. My hepathologist's secratary called to inform me that my specialist Dr. Ghent from London where my transplant will take place,called and asked him to call me to let me know...that I am now the 2nd patient on the list!!!!!!!!!! So that it shouldn't be much longer,finally,it will get done!
So I ask all of you my wonderful blog friends and all your friends to keep me in your prayers!
There are so many emotions going through my head right now. I'm happy,i'm anxious,excited,
scarred,and most of all,sad that someone will have to loose their life in order for me to get their liver. My niece will keep you posted when it does happen,it can still be awhile,but there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Simple "V" card

It's hard to create when you have no mojo isn't it!!! I had to make a card for my wonderful DH,but just couldn't get into it. I almost went and bought one but then I thought,I can't do that.

He deserves a hand made one from me. I'm sure he will compliment me on it even though I don't like the way it turned out. But you should see the first one I made,it went straight to the garbage. Hope you all have a wonderful Valentine Weekend!!!

I'm going to make dinner,his favorite is pasta,so we'll have spaghetti and meatballs and maybe some garlic bread and of course some kind of chocolate desert!!! Can't wait til saturday!!!!

Beautiful flowers and a short post

I got a beautiful bouquet today from my brother in law,isn't it gorgeous! I should of taken a better pic of it,but my head is pounding so this will be another short post. Thanks Grats,this will brighten my table for a couple of weeks for sure!

Changito says Hello!

Well it's already hump day,7:00 am and couldn't sleep. So I came to check my emails and did a little bit of blog surfing and remembered that I had made a card yesterday.

So here it is,Changito stamped on a nestie that I rec'd in the mail (wish I could affored those...maybe one day),I punched out 2 flowers and added purple glitter on it and also on Changito's dots.The ribbon doesn't look like it matches,but it does IRL and I added a little Hello sentiment at the bottom.

Last night was weigh in night. I am happy to say 3 pounds of the 5 I had gained on holidays came off!!! Yay!!!!

Hope you all have a wonderful wednesday! I plan on going back to bed after this post and hopefully stamp today. I need to make my hubby a V card!!!

Canoe by my valentine???
