Danni's Dreams Challenge

If you can make out the image,it's a fairy from Inkadinkado. I heat imbossed it with hologram highlights and made a little sky scene with trees at the bottom.

It's for the Danni's Dreams challenge which was to use butterflies,fairy,or angels. I also inked up the CB folder in a pink pigment ink which really looks neat,the picture doesn't give it much justice.

Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge

I have soooo many images (from SCS WR) that I haven't used,so today I used this Bella one for a B'day card,and also I used the sketch from Mercy's Sketch Challenge,it was cute and it worked for me.
I used some Creative Memories which I've had forever for the ovals and the dp is SU and the sentiment is from SU Circle of Friends.
I also hand wrote the recipients name on one of the balloons.

Mojo Monday Challenge

With Christmas all done and a quiet New Year's Eve upon us here in this household. I will be playing in my craft room.

A WOJ challenge card & B'day card for my sis

Here's a B'day card I made for my wonderful sister. I used this sweet WOJ Lizzie image. Her b'day is on the 27th and always make sure I bring her gift on the 27th so she actually feels like it is her b'day. Being so close to Christmas I'm sure some years it didn't feel as special.

Even though she is older and like she says,she is only getting older,I still want it to be a special day for her. She is the BEST SIS anyone could ask for!!!

So I hope you are all ready for the Big Day, my DH and I will have another quiet Christmas. Having no children,we will be at my sister's for xmas eve dinner and then at one of my brother's the same night. So on the 25th I'll be sleeping in,lol!

I rec'd some beautiful RAKS in the last few days which I will post on the 24th. But Thanks to all of you who keep popping by my little wee blog!!

New Verve Stamps for me

Ok,this isn't the best embossing i've done,actually it's all smudged and looks awful,but it was my first time using pigment ink. I usually use Versamark,which I think I will stick to from now on.

Anyways,this is a new set I ordered from Verve Stamps that is called Believe and was designed in honor of breast cancer awareness. $10. of the sale of each set is donated to Susan Komen for the cure foundation.

It is a 17 piece set which will be appropriate for people that have had a transplant as well. So I just had to have it. I love it!

Another thing I discovered one layer cards are easy to make,I'll have to make more of these.

The only mouse in my house...Henry!

I finally used my WOJ Henry the Mouse stamp.
I've had him for a few weeks if not longer. I just didn't know how to color him,so I played with the colors and this is what I came up with.
Not too bad,but I need alot more practice!

So Christmas is a week away,my goodness,I just can't believe it!
It'll be pretty quiet this year for us. With me not having much energy,my visiting will be short.
Even though the 24th will be a long day. My sister is having the whole family for Christmas Dinner. It'll be nice to see my sis and brothers all at once. We don't get together too often. Then at around 9,one of my brother's invited us over.
Needless to say,it'll be a long day but well worth it.

Gliding by...

She makes me want to go skating!! Even though I haven't skated in like...30 years! I don't think it's time to attempt that,with my luck I'll fall and break something. Don't need that right now,lol.

I really like how my card turned out. My DH bought me the MS of 24 glitter set which I used 3 diff colors in this card. Sterling on her skates,Turquoise for the ice and Crystal fine on her hand & ear muffs and the white part on her skates too.

I'll be giving it to a Tops pal tonight,I hope she likes it!

I can't believe we are only 10 days away for Christmas! We went to a lovely Christmas concert last night,they always bring tears to my eyes.Reminds me of my Mother when she used to sing at Christmas time. God I miss them most at this time of year!!! I find this season so hard since my parents have been gone to Heaven.

Sure is Frosty here !!!

It is soooooo cold here today with -27 with the windchill!!!
BRRRRR!!!! So Frosty the snowman it is!

I used my New Nestie,I know,I know,it's been out for a long time,but they are so hard to get here in our little town.
Easy peasy card for today. And I'm off to put up a few decorations. I'm really not in the mood and didn't want to put ANY decorations what soever,but DH said we can't do that. So I'll take out my wee fiber optic tree (cause we don't have room for a big tree) and a few snowmen here & there.
That'll make hubby happy,so you all have a wonderful busy weekend!

Rudolph in gold!

Well,I'm back,actually I didn't go anywhere,just been lazy. But I did go make a couple of cards with a girl that just started being a SU demonstrator. So that was fun.
This is one of the cards we made. We used pigment ink in gold and silver and added the SU snowflake punch in white and a few pearls here and there with a nice gold ribbon and ta-da like my great nephew would say.

So like so many of you,we have gotten ALOT of snow since yesterday and it's still snowing!

I have to make a list of things to do today so I don't forget for the 4th time to pick up my nestabilitie when I go to town. Before she sells it to someoen else. I ordered label 4 and it's in,so I must pick it up.

Butterfly in December

I really like how this card turned out,unfortunately my photography skills are no good.

It does match,the ribbon and all,but not clear on the pic.

I love this punch,so pretty. I just had to try it out,and I was done with xmas cards for a day.

Even though I still have to make them for my family,maybe on the weekend. I really have to get at it,cause next thing we know,it'll be all over with.

Time just flies by doesn't it!!!

For my Flaky Friends

Quick and simple!

Here is one of my favorite man,the snowman,besides my DH that is,lol.

Here's from one of my fav SU sets,Flaky Friends in Blue Bayou and I added some sparkle on his hat and a snowflake brad. I made a couple of them,lots of xmas cards needed so I gotta get on the ball.

I went to my Tops meeting last night and I stayed the same,yay!!! So now if I can stay that way through the holidays,maybe gain a pound of two,I'll be ok.

Ya right,a pound of two,well a girl has a right to dream,lol!

I just had to post this Beautiful Praying Angel I rec'd yest from My brother Rick and his 3 boys. Alex my nephew popped in a few minutes after work so I would know that they are praying for me. He's 15 and works at A&W and just had to bring it after work. Of course I cried!!!

Congrats from Bella

Here's a card for a fellow TOPS member which was the Best Loser for last week. I always make a card for them,this week I used a Bella image and I'm sure she will like it.

Some of you know I reached my weight goal in May this year,I am still a couple of pounds below goal which I am oh so proud. Trying to keep it off is harder than losing it I think!

Yesterday was another productive card making night. I made another 7 xmas cards,the only thing,they are all for people that asked for orders at TOPS.

The snow is now here!!!

The picture doesn't give this card must justice!

With the snow we had this weekend,I thought I'd make a Thank You card with snowflakes in mind.

It's so pretty IRL! I put MS glitter on her color,muff,and boots and the icicle border from MS. These are all new stuff my DH bought with some 50% coupons we had at Michael's.

Then I stamped some snowflakes on the cs used a couple of nesties and the sentiment is from WOJ.

I had fun stamping this weekend and my room is still clean,lol,I hope I keep it up!

Season Greetings!

Well here are the cards I said I was to make last night!
If you didn't pop in here yest,check out my previous post,I got new cabinets in my Scraproom! I just love it!!!

So the pic isn't the greatest cuz it was taken at night and of course I'm the worse photographer!
But I'll be on the go today,so I posted this last night so I didn't forget to post it today. Does that all make sense??? Lol!

After I was done,I cleaned up all my work area,so it's all pretty pretty,hehe!

So here is my new room!!!!

My DH spoiled me on wed and bought me 3 wall units for my ribbons and stuff and 11 Makin Memories cubicles for all my dp,cs,stickers,cb,nesties...oh my it's amazing what i've put in all those drawers!

And this way I now know where all my things are cuz I labeled everything,oh I'm so excited,don't want to dirty my room now,lol!

Only one thing, any tips or how do you girls store your Magnolias or any other stamps like that? I haven't got around to that yet,I just stuck them in your of the drawers.

So tonight,I'm going to make cards for a lady,
she wants 10 of the same one
which I will post hopefully tomorrow.

Off to play I go,and oh yes,I will clean my mess asap!!!!

FALSE ALARM!

Well it was close but not close enough! It was a good trial run anyways. I got the call at 9pm saying it was Kathleen fr London Un Hospital saying that they had a potential donor!!!! She asked how I was felling,if I was sick or anything and I'm not so that was good. So she says,ok,we'll get the arrangements for the air ambulance done and will call you with the details. So at 10pm I got a call from the air dispatcher saying that the plane would be here at 12:15 am,I says like in 2 hrs!!!!!! He says yes,and explained where I had to go and everything. So by then I had my shower taken,shaved real fast was running all over oh boy all kinds of emotions we're going through my head. Then one of my brother's & his son and my niece SHANNON we're over at our place. They all came to the airport with us. Then at 12:00 the cell phone rings and it's Kathleen saying the liver was NO GOOD!!!! I was so devastated,sad,why why why????
So we came back home,of course couldn't sleep,so Al & I talked til 2am.

It was good in a way,because if I would of gotten on the flight we would of had to come back home on our own expense which would of been anywhere from $700. to $1000. So Thank God I have ANGELS watching over me. So now I know I am next,it can be anytime or longer.

I'd like to Thank You all for your Thoughts And Prayers!!! I didn't realize all the support I have!
Thanks to my family and friends and all of you blogging buddies!!!! I send you all a HUG back!!

So until next call I will try to keep busy in my new scrap room! My hubby bought me all new storage cabinets and nice ribbon racks at Michael's so the last 2 days I've been reorganizing my room. I found stuff I didn't even know I had!!! Al (DH) says,I don't think you need anymore paper do you???? Lol!!! I love him so much!!!! He is my world,my rock,my best friend!!!!

He has been by my side through all of it ever since i was DX in 2001 with PBC. Every Dr appt , every gastro tests , Everytime I was hospitalized, he was there. This will be hard on him cause the surgery is being done 10 hours away from home . so its not like family members can just pop by . He is an Angel to me and I love him sooo much. Anyways , I hope and pray i will come out of this .If i dont Please know that Ill be in good hands up above and that Ill be watching you stamp from above ....

Silver Christmas Ball

I actually made 3 of this card. It was easy and fast and I also embossed Happy Holidays inside.
I need to make so many cards,not enough time. I guess I started to late. But I'll do what I can and hope for the best.

DH was sick for a few days,Thank God I didn't catch the bug he had. So today and the rest of the weekend I hope to make more cards. So I'm off to play,have a great weekend!

B'day Bella

Here's a b'day Bella card for Tops friend. I used all the in colors,I rec'd some of the dp from Chris which I love so I bought more,and I bought the cs and the inks.

I used my new MS punch that my Hubby came home with yesterday. I had a rough day yest so he came home with this surprise,he is such a sweetheart!

I have 2 coupons at Michael's for 50% off on Nov 25 & 27th so I'll be getting more punches. I always get them half price cause they are pricey,but so well worth it. I LOVE PUNCHES!!

So today is a much better day,the sun is shining,I can't believe it,I cleaned some windows!!! Usually we have snow at this time,oh this weather is wonderful!

Mimi in Pink

I think I need to add mor layers to my cards,this is too plain. I still like it though,this is Mimi from Pink Gem,I made her sitting on snow added some cherry stickles to her fluffy collar and cuffs,and made some MS snowflakes with the punch. It looks cutter IRL.
She is on her way to a friend of mine. I'm sure she'll enjoy it. With the beautiful weather we've been having,the white stuff will be upon us soon.

A tree in Bermuda Bay

I got another xmas card made. I've had the Lovely as a tree set since last year and I think this is the 2nd time using it.

I used the Bermuda Bay colors with silver cs from the dollar store which I put on the nesties and then silver heat embossed the snowflakes.I really like how it turned out except maybe I should add more snowflakes where the 2 empty spots are,what do you think? Oh and I used a snowflake border punch and put a silver cs inside the card.

1 card turned into 4!!

Here is a card I liked so decided to use up the whole sheet of dp I had and was able to make 4 cards out of it. So yay,4 more cards for my xmas stash. I stamped some snow flakes with embossing powder and in the inside of the card too.

Well it's friday once again,not much happening at this end of the world. Hope to get more stamping done!

My new MS punch

I had to try my new MS punch,I'm a sucker for punches. I see them on blogs and want them all.

So this is the Floral Vine,so pretty! I used another Tilda image,an older one,but I needed a B'day card for a Tops Pal last tuesday and she really enjoyed the card.

I used the in colors from SU and added some stickles to her wings,used one of my nesties (which i love too) and stamped the HB wish all over.

I made some Christmas cards last night which I will post tomorrow. Gotta get those done cause it'll come soon enough!

Still here

I have no mojo whatsoever!!!! I bought some new stamps which I've been playing with,oh my goodness,I'm terrible at coloring!
I see all the beautiful cards with the WOJ stamps (Henry),I need some coloring lessons.
I'm going to keep trying until I make a half decent card before I post one.
So here is a Tilda card,she is easier for me to color,so Tilda it is for today.
I've been wanting to make Christmas cards,and no go with that either. I think I'm losing it!

Besides that,there's not much new. Been sleeping lots (when I can that is) and been feeling pretty good except for another bladder infection. I don't know why I got 2 of them within 6 weeks.

Snow White...

Snow White and Peter Cotton Tail came to visit us! Snow White is Emily our niece,she's 3 yrs old.

Our little bunny is our Great nephew Henry,he's 3 months old.

He is such a darling!!!!

We don't get any Ghosts or Goblins at our place. We live in a security building,therefore no one ever comes here. Sadly we don't get to see these little ones. So really appreciated them coming by.

A Golden Holllyday card

The other night,I was browsing some blogs,and saw alot of embossing cards which I haven't played with in a long time.
So out came the embossing powder,and my fav is gold embossing. The Santa and sentiment is a Inkadinkado set I bought at Michael's with my 40% off coupon.

Used several punches as you can see,I'm addicted to punches! And the dp is from last yr SU. I'm not too crazy about the card ,but it's not bad. Just haven't had any mojo lately.

I have to make a card of a girl that I used to work with. She had a Baby Boy!!! It's her 2nd child,she has a son who is 7 and now another boy. Guess she'll be in the arenas for a while!

So I hope I can make a half decent card,so I can bring it to her next week. I went shopping for a little outfit for him.Shopping for a boy is not fun like a little girl,but I got this 3 outfit in 1 with the hat and everything. And the colors are green,brown,orange and blue. I didn't want to go with just blue. I'm sure she'll like it.

I was chatting with Debby (Stamin Heaven) and like I told her,if it turns out nice,I'll post it,if not,I'll go buy one,lol.

Emmy instead of Henry

I was suppose to work on making a Henry the Mouse card.And I tried,but didnt like my coloring so im going to keep working at it. So instead I colored Emmy from Cuddly Bubbly which I adore their stamps.
I love girlie stuff!!!

I used some new corner die cuts which I got at Michaels at 40% off on the weekend and the rest is pretty self explanatory. Didnt put a sentiment cuz i dont know who itll be for yet.

So today we got more snow and NO sunshine...makes it a pretty long day. But thats ok,I got to play!

Happy Bday from Henry!

This is Henry the Mouse from WOJ,I just love their stamps.
The pic is pretty dark,sorry,but it looks pretty cute IRL.

I didnt use the stamps that i recd yet,this was an image from SCS wish rak. I plan on making a card right after this post,I promise.

Been a little down lately,just waiting and everything,you know. Anyways,last night my DH and I went for our coffee date at Tim Horton and there was another couple there whish we know their faces but not their names. They are regulars as we are. So as we were leaving,the gentleman says, so I guess you havent heard from the tx hospital yet.
I says no,not yet,its hard emotionally but hey what can we do. He says,sit down,I have a little story for you guys. So he goes to say that 10 yrs ago he had surgery for prostate cancer,and on his way in to the Operating Room,the Dr. says to him,you dont seem nervous or scared at all. The gentleman tells him, only the Lord knows what will happen,it is in his hands. If I come out of it Ill be happy as I have been all my life.And if not,it is because HE has better plans for me. He told me to stay POSITIVE and to let GOD take care of it.

So last night when I went to bed,I did just that. Ive been waiting for almost 29 months on the tx list,so if it takes another 29 months,so be it. GOD will have found the perfect liver for me!!!

Leafy Hello

Another simple fall card just to say hello. It s a dollar stamp from Michaels,and the rest is pretty easy cheesy.

It is wednesday already,seems like it is always monday and friday. So I was suppose to play with my new WOJ stamps but I didnt have a chance. Went to my Tops meeting and then watched The Biggest Loser (my fav reality show) and then it was bedtime again.

Still here...

I am still here!!!! My computer had a flu or a virus which we call it in puter language. So I was without it for a week.

So I found time to make a few cards,this one is simple in fall colors. I just stamped in a few diff inks and then on the brown cs and it turned out pretty cute I think.

I got a couple of WOJ stamps that came in,Henry the mouse. So I hope to play with them tomorrow. Also I need to visit all of your blogs,its been awhile. I popped in here and there,but I must stay away from facebook playing Bejewelz and Ill be ok,lol.

Sophie the ballerina is too cute for words! I just had to color this image when i rec'd her.
I used some nesties and corner punches and some bling and added a pearl ring on her finger.

I must make a Sympathy card,like everyone,it's not a card we like to make. One of my fellow Tops member lost her father last week,so I thought I'd give her a card.

Here's another xmas card I made the other day. Santa Charlie from WOJ. The picture isnt the greatest,can't see the poinsetta with the gr star in the middle and I added some smaller stars and gems and the rest is self explanatory.

Line 'em up!!!

My first Holiday card for this year. I love the SU Holiday Lineup set. It's a really fast & simple card but i'm trying to come up with simple cards to mass produce. Too much coloring with this one,so not a good idea.

Pretty quiet weekend coming up,going to try and get some stamping done if I feel good. Having a rough time lately so who knows what tomorrow will bring.

TOPS AWARDS AND A CARD

So I rec'd a couple of award at our Tops rally day!
The top award was MOST VALUABLE MEMBER,voted by the members. I was so shocked when they called out my name because we have so many wonderful people in our club. So for them to have chosen me was a great honor.
And the bottom award for a SUMMER CHALLENGE,it was to keep your weight off through the summer. And the white ribbon is My Official KOPS ribbon,which means KeepOffPoundSensibly. So overall it was a pretty nice day!!!

Now on with my card,Henry from WOJ...isn't he a darling!! I always need B'day cards so when I got this image I just had to make a card with it.

Tomorrow is thursday already!!! And October to boot!!! Maybe if I wouldn't spend my time trying to sleep,I'd have more time to play. I' m having a hard time to get a good sleep in,a couple hrs here and there isn't sufficient. Oh well,shouldn't complain,there are worse people than me out there.

Precious Maggie

Happy saturday! I enjoyed making this card,I love this image I got from SCS WR.

I used some old SU dp over some baby blue cs.
Added a couple of primas and MS branch punches and also used the Fiskars border punch.
If you look close you will see her pearl necklace. I used white opal liquid pearls.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day for me. I'm attending our TOPS area rally where some people will be recognized for their weight loss.
I will be going with my 78 yr old aunt,we both achieved our goal in May this yr,so we should be recognized for that. I'm looking forward to spending the day with her as I don't see her enough.

TULIPS??????

You must be wondering TULIPS at this time of year??? Well I just rec'd this image from WR and couldn't resist to play. Tulips are one of my favorite flowers,it announces Spring then Summer (which we didn't get this year)

Oh well,So here's a card I made for a friend that needs happy mail.She found out that her sister has cancer and she is taking it really hard so I thought I'd send her a little note so she knows I'm thinking of her.

For our Tops club

Well,they are not the greatest,but they will be for little Halloween treat bags for a draw for our Tops club,I will also add some cards which I already showed you in previous posts.

They will be for fund raising for the club. The ladies always like it when I do stuff like that. I made 20 all together. I didn't do anything fancy,but I'm sure they will go well. We'll be selling tickets for a draw to win these and the cards,just to make a few bucks for the club.

Gee 2 posts in 2 days,haven't done that in awhile!

Simple fall card

With the fall weather upon us,I finally used my Autumn leaf prints set which I had bought last year and don't think I ever used it. I'm so terrible for that!

So I use the Maple leaf which is my favorite,it's so nice and colorful and so of them are huge. I always loved to pick them up as a kid.

The piece that the leaf is glued on is a paint sample thingy from Home Depot,you can't see in the pic,but it's a goldish color,looks really sharp. And I stamp the leaf again on the dp with true thyme and so saffron. And just used the little Hello as the sentiment.

It'll be a card for my stack.

I must tell you this FUNNY but PANICK story we had this afternoon. We (DH and I) we're in line at Tim Horton waiting to order and my Pager goes off...I look at my husband and say,MY PAGER WENT OFF!!! He yanks it off my pant waist (that is where i keep it) and checks for the number...it said low cell,lol! It was to warn us the battery was low,lol.

It's not really funny,but we're still laughing,I can't imagine what we'll do when the real call happens!

I had a beautiful dream!!!

I have nothing to show you but I want to tell you about my beautiful dream!!!

Just when I needed some hope as I have been really depressed with waiting for my transplant,I emailed my transplant co-ordinator to see where things we're standing. Back in Feb,they told me I was 2nd on the list (for my blood type) so I thought it would be soon. Well we're now mid Sept. and still nothing. So she told me that the person ahead of me was now in the hospital waiting for a liver. That means this person must be in pretty bad shape. My co-ordinator said as soon as she (so this person is a lady) has her transplant,I am next.
So saturday night,I asked my Mom up above to help this lady to get her liver and that she goes through it smoothly. And if there was a way for her to give me a sign to let me know that I will be getting my tx soon to let me know.
So my beautiful dream was...I was sleeping,not in a hospital,don't know where i was,but there was someone caressing my face,I woke up in the dream to see my Mom. I said what's wrong?
She was so beautiful,and she answered,everything will be ok!!!!

So she came and gave me my sign,she was actually here I'm sure,I felt her!!!! This is the best dream I have ever had!!! So now I know,when the time is right,it will happen!

Please keep sending the prayers my way,I know you are,tell your friends,families and anyone you can think of!!!

cardstock with the wonderful dp.
I finally got to make a card with them. The sentiment is mounted on the rich rasp cs. Hard
to see from the pic,but it looks really nice!

Friday is here once again,I've caught up on my sleep last night,yay!!!!
Tomorrow we'll checking the fall fair,hope to get some nice crafts or maybe some nice pies,yummy!!!!
