Made a couple of cards at the camp

Back from camp!

It was a nice weekend except for friday night,but I got to make 2 cards. It's hard to make cards when you only bring limited supplies and tools with you. But I managed to make this card with a
WOJ stamp. I had to make a girly card which I hadn't done in awhile. Left the oval blank because I will put a sentiment over top when I need it.

We had beautiful weather on saturday so I sat outside in my bathing suit and tanned for a few hours. And went over to some friends camp at night and had lots of fun.
Only one thing,they drink and wake up with no hang over and I don't drink and woke up in the middle of the night with a bad headache!!!
NOT FAIR!!!!

A simple card

Oh my it's wednesday already~!
Where do the days go??? I made this card yesterday and finally got to post it.

I was going to enter it in the ProMarkers challenge,but I don't have many of them,so this was Pro Markers and SU Markers. I don't think it would be fair if I would enter it. Anyhow,here is my card for today,no sentiment cuz I don't know what I'll use it for.
Did you notice there are NO MS border punches!!
Just thought I'd make a simple card. Added some butterflies from SU,a little charm,some MS glitter on her pants and wings and a flower from my new stash,love 'em!

Tonight,I'm going to play at Paulette's,hopefully we'll get some cards done and not just gabbing. You know us women,lol!

Hi there my friends!

Well it's monday again,I made this card with still no mojo but it turned out pretty good anyways. I didn't put any sentiment as I don't know what I'll be using it for.
I rec'd this beautiful dp from Wish Rak so I just had to use it. And like I said the other day,this image was already colored so I thought it would go with the dp. I added some silver punched flowers and a MS butterfly,added some bling and here is my card.

I've decided,sick or not,I have to get my spring cleaning done,now summer is almost here and I still haven't done my cleaning. So I thought,if i do one room every second day,I should be done in a couple of weeks. We only have a 2 bedroom apt.
Today I did my whole bathroom from top to bottom.Now it smells and looks so fresh!

So if you don't hear from me,that's what i'll be up to,wish me luck,lol!

My new MS punch

Happy hump day!!!

Well after having a rough night,I had a pretty good day. I made a card with my new MS punch!
I saw it on a few blogs so I just had to have it.

The image is from wish rak and I added some MS butterflies,a dragonfly charm,some stickles on her wings which you can hardly see,a few gems and I like the way it turned out.

On top of that I made a Chicken fried rice with lots of veggies which all goes in the oven,so easy peasy dinner.
And tonight I'm going to play at Paulette's!

So overall,I had a great hump day!

Willow went shopping!

Happy Tuesday almost Wednesday folks!

I had a lazy day yesterday and today,just no energy!
But I did manage to make a card in 2 days,lol. Better than none right.
I used Shopping Willow from WOJ which the image was given to me by Celine (Merci encore Celine!).

I wanted to play the WOJ challenge,but when I went back to make sure i had everything right...gee whiz,I had the colors wrong,it was green and yellow! All along I thought it was green and pink. So when not well,don't create,hehe. I still like the way it turned out.

WOJ challenge

I finally got to make a card! After getting everything back in it's place,had a good night sleep. Time to get back in somekind of a routine.

We went for a brunch which I ate too much again,
but now it's time to get serious about losing the lbs i put on my holiday!
On with the card...

I wanted to participate in the WOJ challenge which is 1 ribbon,2 buttons and 3 papers. I've had this stamp for awhile and haven't used him much.
Don't know why cause he's so cute.
I used some boyish papers I had in my pile and I like how it turned out.

Now I'm off to play some more cause DH is busy cleaning his shed,yay,I get to play!

Willow having a cup of coffee

The picture really doesn't do this card justice unfortunately. But here goes, I made this card for the
WOJ CHALLENGE which was coffee cream colors with a WOJ image of course.

I was making this card with my wonderful sister in mind. We haven't gotten together in awhile and I miss her dearly. The colors really didn't come out right in the pic but IRL it's really nice. I used a dark beige for the card base,then mounted the musica sheet paper onto black. The image is colored in the browns and beiges on the nesties and the flowers,brown on black with MS branches the same color as the caramel nestie. And the sentiment is embossed with black glitter which reads "You're never more than a thought away".

Even though my sis and I live in the same city,I'll be mailing this to her for a little surprise to make a coffee date with her. I'm sure she'll be pleased.

WOJ challenge

I made an easel card,just love them and this week's challenge is another great sketch so why not play right!

WOJ challenge

Today's card if for the Whiff Of Joy Challenge.

Swirls and Pearls was the challenge and of course the use of a WOJ image. I used Liz,and used a swirl from a Wedding cricut cartridge and added some pearls on the left of the card and on the sentiment which is also from WOJ. I added some Cotton Candy glitter from MS and the swirl paper is from I don't know where.

I really like how it turned out,hope you will too.

Way to go!!!!

I was able to play 2 challenges with this card.

The first was Humble Pie which was to use Nesties,
and 2nd was Challenge #66 at Whiff Of Joy.

So I colored Charlotte on label 4 and matted it on the Rich Razleberry from SU and the papers are also all SU (left over scraps). I added some primas
in both corners and that's my card.

Simon Says Challenge-LOVE

Here is a card for the Simon Says Challenge. With Valentine just around the corner,I am sure there will be lots of entries for this challenge. All you have to do is make a card or project with LOVE in mind. That's pretty easy isn't it!

This will be a card for my DH,not for Valentine cause I've already made him one. It'll be a just because I love him.
He is always there for me,always encouraging me through my darkest days and believe me,there are alot of those lately. The paper and colors are dark because I thought they look more male colors. I added some Mint Ice stickles all over and the senitment is from SU-Well scripted.

Wish Big Henry!

I've entered Henry in the WOJ sketh challenge.
I love Henry the mouse,he looks sooo happy!
So I thought it would be a perfect b'day for a happy fellow Tops member.

I used all SU cs and dp,added some Cotton Candy on the cupcake icing,used a my new punch which my DH bought me today and some primas with light blue pearls.

Now I have to get busy with more b'day cards as I need lots for this month. If my liver would give me a break,I would feel better and could play more. Today seems like a pretty good day,so I'm going to try my best!

Simon Says Challenge-Punches

Happy Friday everyone! Gee the week went by quick didn't it!

Today's card could be a Valentine Card or just a card to show someone I care,so I didn't put a sentiment on it.

I used a WOJ stamp Melinda blowing kisses and the Heart is from an acc set at WOJ. So I coloured both and cut them out to pop them up. Once again I used some of my pink scraps mounted on brown cardstock,the border punch is MS and I even used the punched hearts form the bpunch and added them on the top right of my card. And lastly,added some pink pearls and SU pink ribbon.

I also get to join 2 challenges with it.

At SIMON SAYS , they're challenge is to use punches,so in my card I used 2 diff punches.

There was another challenge to use Pink & Brown and now I don't remember where it was.So I guess I won't enter it in that challenge,But if I do find it again,I'll have to enter the challenge.

The snow is now here!!!

The picture doesn't give this card must justice!

With the snow we had this weekend,I thought I'd make a Thank You card with snowflakes in mind.

It's so pretty IRL! I put MS glitter on her color,muff,and boots and the icicle border from MS. These are all new stuff my DH bought with some 50% coupons we had at Michael's.

Then I stamped some snowflakes on the cs used a couple of nesties and the sentiment is from WOJ.

I had fun stamping this weekend and my room is still clean,lol,I hope I keep it up!

Happy Bday from Henry!

This is Henry the Mouse from WOJ,I just love their stamps.
The pic is pretty dark,sorry,but it looks pretty cute IRL.

I didnt use the stamps that i recd yet,this was an image from SCS wish rak. I plan on making a card right after this post,I promise.

Been a little down lately,just waiting and everything,you know. Anyways,last night my DH and I went for our coffee date at Tim Horton and there was another couple there whish we know their faces but not their names. They are regulars as we are. So as we were leaving,the gentleman says, so I guess you havent heard from the tx hospital yet.
I says no,not yet,its hard emotionally but hey what can we do. He says,sit down,I have a little story for you guys. So he goes to say that 10 yrs ago he had surgery for prostate cancer,and on his way in to the Operating Room,the Dr. says to him,you dont seem nervous or scared at all. The gentleman tells him, only the Lord knows what will happen,it is in his hands. If I come out of it Ill be happy as I have been all my life.And if not,it is because HE has better plans for me. He told me to stay POSITIVE and to let GOD take care of it.

So last night when I went to bed,I did just that. Ive been waiting for almost 29 months on the tx list,so if it takes another 29 months,so be it. GOD will have found the perfect liver for me!!!

Here's another xmas card I made the other day. Santa Charlie from WOJ. The picture isnt the greatest,can't see the poinsetta with the gr star in the middle and I added some smaller stars and gems and the rest is self explanatory.

I was just fooling around trying to start some xmas cards as it will be here before we know it!

A Rak and a card

This is a RAK from Joanne at stamps4sanity. Isn't she sweet,Joanne and the card of course! She sent Congratulating me with my weight loss success! Isn't she a sweetheart! Thanks Joanne,it's gorgeous,I love her,I'll stick it on my fridge for insentive for these last pounds. I go for my weigh in tonight but I don't think I've lost anything (sad face)!

Oh it's cold and miserable outside!!! I had colored this WOJ image a couple of days ago with intention of making a card,but it took longer than usual. I just don't have any pep in this old body of mine,lol.

I wish I owned all the WOJ's stamps,I love 'em all!

My card is pretty plain,but I wanted to post something on my blog,I've been slacking off lately. So this is what you're getting,lol.

Today is a day off for us here in Canada and what a beautiful day it was!!!

The weather was perfect (for this time a year),so we went for a drive,came back home,I had time to play and made this WOJ card.
Isn't she cute? Melinda blowing kisses,I love all of their stamps,if only I could win the lottery,lol!!!

We had a light dinner,hubby and I are working hard to loose weight,and after dinner we went for a 50 min. walk!!!!

I love to have those kind of days,I feel like a normal person when I get to do all these things in one day!!!!

So like they say...take it one day at a time!!! Have a super tuesday!!

My first WOJ card!

Well I got 2 WOJ stamps the other day and finally had the chance to color Melinda Reading her Book.

I don't like the shape of the card but I didn't want to start over. I started with the oval pattern in mind,I should of went with the square card anyways.But hey I tried it,don't like it,live and learn right! Then I had problems with the ribbon,than I goofed up when I colored her pants,so I fixed that with piecing them,so that was ok.
The only thing I do like is the primas,couldn't mess those up,
lol,but with me you never know!

My next one will be better,I promise,practise makes perfect so they say.
