Magnolia challenge

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We went and relaxed in the bush and like I had said,I did some coloring.

I colored this Tilda in red and blue jeans, added some pearl x in her polka dots. Then thought, navy is a color I barely use,so I gave it a shot. I peeked on the Magnolia Challenge blog and they had a sketch challenge,so why not play.

I used the MS deco fan punch in red & blue, and a flower punch and the circle scalloped nestie and that's about it.

Have a wonderful week, mid June tomorrow already! I can't believe it but in another 10 days,it will be Christmas in 6 months. Scarry thought!

If friends we're like flowers,I'd pick you and you and...

Last night I colored this Tilda image with no dp in mind or anything. I colored her top and then wanted some blue jeans (sorta) and I new the flowers had to be purple,
but I did (like I always do) have a hard time with the hair. I need practice with that.
So then I went in my scraps and pulled some cs to mount her on and used another new MS punch Deco Fan.Added some bling and flower and the leaf punch is also MS. Oh and I added a wee tiny ribbon.

Now I have to get a card for my hunny for thursday,it will be our 10th Anniversary. Time flies by when you have a Wonderful Spouse!
And I also need to make 2 layouts for our Kops album for a member that became a Kops at Tops. I started an album with all our Kops so members can be inspired with their stories and before and after pics. The group really like this idea and i enjoy making them.

So off I go to play! Have a fab week everyone~!

Magnolia challenge

Tilda is off to water her flowers!

This card is for the Magnolia Challenge which was to make an easel card, one of my favorite cards so I just had to play.

This is Tilda with watering can, isn't she a cutie!! I stamped her and colored her and used my oval nestie. The frame is from K&Company which I matted it on some dp and popped up Tilda in the middle of the frame, the flowers came with the frame, just beautiful! I also used some stickles on her wings.

So I'm posting this early because tomorrow I'm going to watch my Godson (8yr old) in a arm wrestling competition. He won in his categorie last yr but we were'nt there. So we'll be there to cheer him on this yr.

Have a great weekend friends!

2 Challenges in 1

This cute Magnolia card is a Thank You card I made. I need to make a few more Thank You cards for when I need them, I never have them and I like those kinda cards to be special!

So with this one,I saw that I could enter it for 2 challenges one is for STAMP SOMETHING blog. It was to make a blue and white card, that's pretty easy right.

And the other challenge is over at JUST MAGNOLIA CHALLENGE blog. It was to make a Thank You card, so here is my take on the challenge.

I made another easel card,(I love them so much) the rhinestones are blue (even though they don't look like blue) and I used Bashful Blue cs and dp from SU and the MS butterfly punches (2 diff ones) added stickles on them and the ribbon is from Michael's. Oh and the Thank You sentiment is also SU Short & Sweet set.

So check it out if you like challenges, she always has great ones going on!
Have a super Sunday! Hugs,Diane

Another great challenge at KLSNS

Pink, black and neutral was the challenge for this week at KLSNS . I thought I'd make a Valentine card with it.

Used the MS border punch and the corner punch is an old one from Creative Memories. I added some bling and some doodling and sponging and I like how it turned out.

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend, mine was quiet as usual. I'm thinking...I have such a boring life,I'm going to have to change that!

Have a great week my friends,Hugs,Diane

Still here

I have no mojo whatsoever!!!! I bought some new stamps which I've been playing with,oh my goodness,I'm terrible at coloring!
I see all the beautiful cards with the WOJ stamps (Henry),I need some coloring lessons.
I'm going to keep trying until I make a half decent card before I post one.
So here is a Tilda card, she is easier for me to color,so Tilda it is for today.
I've been wanting to make Christmas cards, and no go with that either. I think I'm losing it!

Besides that, there's not much new. Been sleeping lots (when I can that is) and been feeling pretty good except for another bladder infection. I don't know why I got 2 of them within 6 weeks.

So have a great week my friends, and wish me luck with getting some MOJO back!!!!!

Still don't have enough Christmas cards, how 'bout u?

Well it's almost here,Christmas that is, and I'm still making cards. I'm sure i'm not the only one, lol.
My DH and I went for a walk in the mall on saturday,we've been done for a little while, but we still like to be in the hussle and bussle of the season. I miss working for that,as much as I was tired and exhausted when I got home,I loved the fast pace, the happy and not so happy customers.
It brought back alot of memories.
I'm making a couple more baking recipes on monday and next thing we know,it'll be all over with.

Well on with my Tilda card. The dp is from last year SU xmas paper, and used my MS punch and added a little angel brad at the top.
Hope you are all ready for the big day, cause weather or not,it'll be here before we know it!

Have a great week,Hugs,Diane

Christmas Tilda

Here's Tilda ringing her Christmas bell. I think all Tilda images are so darn cute even though she doesn't have a mouth!

I colored her with my SU markers and put her on a pink bg then put it on a snowflake dp. Used a MS punch on the side and popped dot the bigger bell as the sentiment which I added the Peace word on. And added a SU ribbon.

Kinda cute for a non Christmas color card!

Yesterday we went to our Godson's Christmas concert at school,he's 6 yrs old. He lives 45 mins away from here. When we peaked in his class to let him know we we're there,he was so happy, the smile on his face said it all!!!

They sang a french song that was so cute, and of course he was the best singer of the class!!! After the concert which finished at 2,his mom let us take him out of class and we took him to Tim Horton's for a Hot Chocolate, just us 3,he's such a great kid.He is the one in one of my previous posts with a cast on his arm. His cast is now off,he's ready to brake something else, lol. He is such a daredevil, aren't all boys though.

Well there's only a week to Christmas,I can't believe it! So I should get a bit of baking done.So I'm off to attempt, lol!

Yet another Tilda card

You guys must be wondering why I'm making all these summer cards with fall almost here. Well I had rec'd a bunch of images and colored a few last weekend,so this week,I put them on cards.
I had made one of these before but had her standing up,when I realized Tilda is lying in the grass! So this time around she is positioned right, lol.

I had this fun colorful ribbon which I hadn't got to use yet,so I thought it matches the colors in my image perfectly. Don't know if you can see it,but I used a CB for the bg of the card.

It feels funny to be home for the weekend, cuz usually we're at the camp. I got some cleaning done yesterday, yuck! So today I get to play ALL DAY!!!! Hurray!!!!

Have a wonderful Saturday dear friends!!! Hugs,Diane

Tilda picking flowers!

Even though the flower season is done for us up North,I made this card with Tilda picking flowers. I wish I had all the Tildas,I'm in love with them, they are so much fun to color. It reminds me of when I was a child,I used to color all the time,I still enjoy it!

I added some Stampendous butterfly stickers and some border stickers to add a golden touch.

My SIL has come home today!!!!!! Tasha (her daughter) just couldn't wait, they will have one happy weekend. Even though they won't be doing much,at least they will be cuddling together all weekend and Tasha will be her Mom's little nurse!

So here's to a super weekend to all of you!

Tilda's wishing big!

I like how this card turned out. Doesn't she look so sweet!

I coloured her with my SU markers, stamped the flowers and sentiment from SU Short and Sweet set, added some doodling around the oval, used stickles for her wings and a dot in the flower on the balloon. And added some bling in her ribbon in her hair.

Don't ask me why I colored her boots green...so then I did the strings of the balloons the same color.

Hope you all have a great week! I'm going to try and make a Christmas card tonight,so come back and let me know what you think of it. I'll be using a Flourishes set that I bought a while back and haven't used it yet.

Hugs for now,Diane

Anyhow, back to the card,I colored him with my SU markers, did a little bit of doodling (always like doodling since I was a kid),the sentiment is from Flourishes and added a polka dot ribbon to match the polka dot dp.

Pretty simple card but I kinda like it!!
