High Hopes 1st Challenge!!

High Hopes has a blog now,Hooray!!!!! Don't you love High Hopes stamps!!!! Well I do,I first saw them on Kraftin Kimmie's blog and have been in love with them every since!

So they are having a challenge,it's pretty easy too.All you have to do is a B'day card with 4 brads!

Now my card is really plain besides all the other people I've checked,but that's ok right. Everyone is different,we need different in this world,lol!

So here's my shot at it,you should all that the challenge cause there's a great prize! And I know you all love HH stamps as I do,so go check it out!!

There's a mouse in the house!

While you read this post,I'll be gone to TOPS regional award meeting a couple hours away from home. This is a weight loss group that I'm in,every year they have these award meetings recognizing people with their weight loss in their weight categories. Not like I'm going to win anything,but it's nice to go support our peers!
So it will be a very long day for me,we leave at 6:30 AM and will be back by 6:00 PM.

Oh well,I'm sure it will be lots of fun!

On with the card...isn't this a sweet image! I love the House Mouse collection,I rec'd this one from SCS wish rak. I really enjoy all the images I've been receiving.

Quick Thank You cards

I've been looking at this paper I've had for awhile now,it's not a designer paper or anything,
but I really like it. So I decided to make Thank you cards,they're all the same except I changed the sentiments' spot and I made 2 diff positions.
Added a ribbon and voila!!!

I like them,I'm always looking for Thank You cards,so now I have 4 on hand!

I must go make a baby shower card,for tomorrow,I thought I had one in my stash but I don't,so off to make a card i go!!!

Jingle all the way!!!

Another snowman card. I hope you like them as much as I do,cause you'll be seeing lots of them this Christmas season! I'm in awwww everytime I see new ones.
This one (the image) is from SCS Wish Rak,which I just joined. Been getting some pretty nice images!

I must say,this card is the FIRST one I can say I actually am proud of.
The dp is from SU,the punch is from Martha Stewart and the ribbon is from the dollar store.
Inside the card I added a white cs with the same punch at the bottom.

So what do you think of it???

Thursday was another beautiful day,sunny,perfect weather for walking,which i've started again.
Hopefully I'll keep it up this time.I'm trying to loose a few more pounds and it's so hard,you know what i mean,right ladies!! I gotta get in shape for this surgery!!!

Her card is all layered,so much nicer IRL compared to the pic I took!!!

Then to my card,I did a Lily and Tweet winter card. The sentiment is from a SU set,Very Merry,I CB the 2 BG layers and added some stickles to Lily's coat and used a Martha punch for the snowflakes. Not the greatest card,but it's ok!
