I love my hedgies!!

Here are 2 more Hedgie cards I made on sunday. I have to get some more cards done,I have nothing else to show you. Did you notice the pink card has NO nestabilitie,lol. Thought you guys must be thinking,oh no,now that's all we're going to look at!

I think it'll make a good card for weight loss encouragement,I used the CB Congrats embosser,and it's pink,should work for it.

Well,I'm off to take a little nap,been having a hard time with my sleep AGAIN,so I snooze when and if I can!

Bagfull of cards!

Here is a bagfull of cards which I will be donating to our Weight Loss Group for their penny sale this weekend. It's not the fanciest but I wanted something to hold 20 cards. So I had an old bag that I recycled and it worked for me. I bought these 10 pack cards with envies for $1.50,so I used the envies for the cards I made and I used one of the cards on the bag,added some ribbon and buttons from the dollar store...and voila!

I was busy yesterday,had fun in my stamp room. Did a few cards which I will post tomorrow.

Today is a day to clean,yucky!!! But hey it has to be done.

DOTS DOTS and more Dots...

A lot of dots going on!!! I found these old PB sticky images in my old stuff,so I think I will use them in the next little while. I love these little guys! I thought I'd go with polka dots to match the lady bug,think there's enough dots???

Sweet friend!

Hi all! Another gloomy rainy day here in Northern Ontario! So we stayed in and I played,yay!

Here is a card I have to send to a Sweet Friend and tomorrow I will show you a brown paper bag that I altered for a donation to my Weight Loss Group. They are having a penny sale and a bake sale next weekend to raise money to pay for a coach bus for a weekend rally in June.

So I thought I'd donate some of my already made cards,it's a mixture of all kinds of cards. It was a success last year so I'm sure the comittee will appreciate it! I'll show you the bag tomorrow,nothing fancy but it's cute.

Calling again for rain tomorrow,so not much happening,maybe I should clean my stamp room,my goodness it gets messy,I wonder who made the mess,wasn't me!!!!

Oh yesterday,we went to dinner with the little 2 yr old,(Emily) she is a hoot,she talks so much!

After dinner we went for a walk in the mall and she took some pics in those booths they have in the mall,you know which one I mean right. When I was a kid it cost .25 cents for those 4 pictures...now they cost $4.00,I couldn't believe it!!!!

Anyways,we had fun,ate too much again,darn it's hard to eat healthy when you go to a restaurant,for me anyways,lol!

Happy Friday to you all! I made this cutie this afternoon,she's an image I rec'd from Wish Rak and I adore her. I love how it turned out,not often I say that about my cards. I used SU cs and dp,used my corner punch on the back of my nestie to add some blue,used MS border punch and the butterflies.Then added a ribbon from Mike's and a dragonfly charm that I rec'd in my goodies from CHRIS (Thanks girl!) and put the same dp inside of the card.

I think I will do that in most of my cards now,it looks so much elegant I find.

Hope you enjoy your weekend,we are off for dinner with Al's brother,wife and 2 yr old daughter tonight,so it should be fun!

Check out what I've won!!!

Well last night was weigh in night at TOPS and I gained .8 of a pound. To alot of people they are going to think heck was is she complaining about,but I've been working for this goal for YEARS!

I've strugged all my life with this,in total I've lost 98 pounds. My goal is to lose another 2.2 now to make it at my goal of 100 pounds!

I know I will achieve it,just don't know when,I promised myself not to dwell on it no more. Maybe I'm stressing too much over it and that is the reason for my going up and down.

Anyways,on to the RACK cause I don't have anything that I've done to show you.

Look at this loot I've won from Chris!!!! You sure made my day girl! I was jumping with joy when I got my mail!!! Look at all of it,some gorgeous paper,images,dew drops,charms,primas,buttons and a beautiful note pad which you can stick on the fridge or put it in your purse! I love it!

Chris,you are such a sweetie! Thanks a million! If you haven't visited her blog,you should,she does beautiful work and she's Canadian eh!!! Lol! Had to throw that in Chris!!

Congrats from Daisybella

Hi everyone! Today is another blah day here,calling for rain all week! Well,it's better than snow!

We must look at the bright side right!

I made this Congrats card with Daisybella for a fellow TOPS pal which was the best loser last week. I always bring the best loser a card with encouraging words inside. I know how hard it is to lose and having some encouragement helps,and it gives me a reason to make cards! Yay!!!

I used my Nesties again!!! Have I told you how much I love these,lol!! Added a pale pink ribbon and then rose red ribbon over top with 3 little knots. Ta-da,easy peasy!

Now I will make some business card size Congrats for the group. Each 1st tuesday of every month,they have pins and awards night. Which they award the top loser in each category and so many other awards with either a beautiful charm or a free weigh in. Therefore I will make some cute little cards with sentiments and embellishments. The club can reuse the free weigh in once they are redeemed. I've made a couple last month and the club leader really thought it was a beautiful idea and gesture. So I will make more so they can have lots on hand.

I didn't have a great week (weight wise) but will see tonight at weigh in. Hopefully I stayed the same.

Precious friend!

Happy Monday everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I'm not feeling the greates,my acid reflux is really bad,my meds aren't working the greatest. I called my family dr. and can't get to see her til May 26th. So I guess if it gets worse I'll have to go to ER again. I am so done with all of this!!! I don't know why I get all this,I have enough on my plate right now.

I was chatting with one of my friends this afternoon,she is always there for me to vent.

So I made her a little card,very simple and i think she will appreciate it. The pic doesn't give it justice,the pink ribbon is the same as the pink oval even though it doesnt' look it.And I used a sponge to add some pink on the white scalloped oval.

We went to Church,then for a visit at my Brother's and then I went for a walk (was thinkin' of you Chris,lol!) I really enjoy walking in the sun,don't we all!!!

Black & White

After going all around town in the plumber's dept. at our local stores,we didn't find a plumber's gasket sheet. But....my dh had a mat of somekind in the storage area here which did the job!

I went with all black & white,been wanted to try it for awhile.I like it!

Thinking of You!

My gastroscopy was alright,they didn't have to band my varacies but he did say I have "Hiatus Hirnea". Just told me to keep taking me meds as usual. I guess it's not a big problem,I see my family dr. in a few weeks so I'll ask her all about it.

Now,onto my card,I used 2 of my lovely Nesties,the stamps are all Inkadinkado,the dp is SU and the ribbon from Michaels. I like it!!!!

The weekend is already upon us once again,I can't believe it! They are calling for sun all weekend,so I know what I'll be doing...walk,walk,walking!

My first Nestie

I played with my nesties!!!!! I couldn't emboss cuz I don't have the mat and of course the local scrap store didn't have any in stock. So I'll have to wait to emboss unless you girls have some kind of a trick.

Angel Anya was the first image for the nesties,I love angels and I had this paper on my table so went from there.
The pic isn't the best,but I added stickles for the halo and wings,I popped up the sentiment which is from WOJ,put corner punches at the top of the dp,used MS border punch and added some bling at the top.

I really like how it turned out! What do you think?
Calling for beautiful weather on thursday again,but I have to get a gastroscopy in the am,so if all is ok I'll be good to go for a walk after dinner,if I need some banding done,I'll be resting for a whole day,it hurts the inside when they band.

Anyways,hope you all have a terrific day,and I'll be back to play with my nesties...I'm so HAPPY I got these,I've been Thanking my hubby all day!!!!

I lost!!!! And a case from Jodi!

Well,last night I had a weight loss of 2 pounds which I was so happy with! Now I have 1.4 left to reach my goal,I had so much energy and encouragement from my TOPS peeps that I have to reach my goal,wouldn't want to let them down. So I'll do my best and hope the rest!!!

On to this card folder, I cased it from Jodi check out her blog if you haven't already. She does amazing work. Thanks for the amazing tutorial Jodi,yours is much better than mine,but I need some practice.

The 1st pic is the outside,it looks like a card and the 2nd pic is the inside,so I can send some images or small notes or whatever. Isn't it cute??? Well I kinda like it.

I'm sooooo HAPPY!!!

What a fabulous gift my DH made me today!!! I asked him to come with me to our local Scrap Store cause I wanted to check what they had on sale. Since Michael's opened last May,I'm sure it has affected her tremendously. I wanted to see if she had any new HH stamps,and she didn't so we browsed around and I needed some Versafine and black stickles which they had but not on sale. And then..... I spotted the Nestabilities!!!!! I was so happy cuz I wanted to order some on line,but by the time you pay the exchange and the shipping,I kept putting it off.

And guess what,they we're 15% OFF,so my dear wonderful hubby bought me all these!!

Oh I love him so much,he's so good to me!!!

Until I get the hang of these with my CB I won't be showing any cards but watch out when I do use these!!!!

Tonight is weigh in night...with the Easter brunch,I still believe I lost so I'm anxious to see how much. I have 3.6 to go to reach my goal. I know I haven't lost that much,but maybe by next week.

Shhhhh!!! I really think Spring is here!

I don't want to say it too loud,but I think Spring is finally here!!! It was only 9c today but the sun was so gorgeous. DH and I went for a walk and enjoyed it once again. That's 4 days in a row of walking,woohoo!!!

So on tuesday I must go for a gastroscopy test,(I get this done every 3 to 4 months) and the staff are just wonderful! I enjoy bringing them a little treat,therefore I had this beautiful tall glass which I had rec'd some flowers in a long time ago. So I filled it with some Easter Kisses Chocolate and added a gorgeous bow around the glass.

And of course a Celebrate Spring card, I love making them happy! They always give me great care so I love to treat them when I can.

For You Thelma!

I know this lady does not read my blog. Her name is Thelma and she's in her 80's. She is also a member at our weight loss group. After you reach your goal at TOPS,you become a KOPS.

TOPS stands for Taking Off Pounds Sensibly and KOPS stands for Keeping Off Pounds Sensibly.

With that said,Thelma is a KOPS and the sweetheart of our club,she is always hugging and encouraging everyone and she makes sure she attends every meeting.

Well yesterday Thelma called me at home to give me words of encouragement as she knows I am close to my goal AGAIN. I was so touched (I'm very sensitive these days,lol), so I decided to make her a card. Since she is the huggable person of the group,I used my Teddy Bear Hugs from Cuddly Bubbly.

I hope she likes it!

Simple Thank You!

I made another Thank You card,it's pretty simple. I used a Stampendous set called Flower Tops,and added the little flower from the SU Short & Sweet set. The main cardstock almost looks black but it's wasabi. And I added a $ tag from our dollar store.

Well today was beautiful,my DH and I went for a 1/2 hr which felt soooo good!! Fresh air!!!

I hope the sun will keep shining so I can get back into walking. I'm working to get to my weight goal again,so no chocolate for me this weekend!!!

Needed a B'day card for a fellow weight loss group member. I'm sure she'll enjoy Cupcakebella,I do anyways.

Still snowing here,urghhhhh!!! But on a brighter side,I had a SUPER GOOD SLEEP last night!!!

I feel so good,it's too bad it only happens once in about 3 or 4 months. Hey,it's better than nothing I guess.

I thought it was SPRING?

Well it's monday again,and our weekend was pretty quiet as always. Not too much excitement around here. You girls don't know how lucky you are sometimes to have children. We never had children,and envy alot of people. I can just see you all saying...you want to borrow mine for a few weeks,lol! I get that all the time.

So it's suppose to be SPRING,and we're still getting snow,what's up with that??? So I wanted to make a bright card,don't know if the colors go together but I bought this ribbon at Michael's and I really liked it. So this is what came out of it.

I colored my Cuddly Bubbly image which I stamped on a scallop then put it on an orange circle,added some doodling. The little butterflies are MS punch and added some Liquid Pearls on them both. The cardstock was already embossed when bought,so that was a bonus.

First kiss!!! Looking for a used stamp set...

I used my 2 newest Magnolia stamps and tried to create a scene. Shy Tilda and Edwin kissing,aren't they cute. Then I masked them and added the WOJ flowers and cut out 2 butterflies to make it 3-d and added some stickles glitter and stickles pearl in the middle.

I think it turned out pretty nice,what do you think?

I wanted to ask if anyone would have a Hanna Stamp Set "Getting Physical" (used) for sale. I would really like to get it,and if I can save a few bucks,bonus. If anyone does,please let me know,thanks.

Short Dr.post

Hey friends,just to let you know I'm alive and kicking,lol! The dr wanted to see me concerning my visit at the ER 2 weeks ago. He was concerned about my bad headaches because my blood is so thin. So he says what's happening is because my liver isn't doing well with the bile,the bile works itself back up and up to my head. He changed my meds for that and said to try that for 3 weeks and hope it'll help. He also said for me NOT to get hurt to cause any sort of bleeding cause I'd be in trouble.
Funny how your body works huh,I was thinking of that in the middle of the night when i couldn't sleep. And as far as the not sleeping,he says there's not much more he can do for that,I'm already taking something to help me sleep so they can't give more. So for me to sleep when and if I can,so that's what I've been doing. An hour here and there and at night I try to get at least 3 hours in a row.
So that is where I'm at with that,so it's all good. Hoping to work on some cards this weekend.

Wonderful RAK and a simple layout

It will be a short post again,as I've been struggling with my sleep once again.I rec'd this beautiful card last week and so sorry Michele that it took so long for me to post it. It is so gorgeous,the fishy has all kinds of glitter bubbles and the bg is cb. She also sent me the sweet Studio G stamp!

You're such a sweetie Michele,thanks a bunch!!

And the layout is really simple,my sil had this bl & wh photo of Emily so I thought of doing something simple and leave a big space for her to add some journaling. I'm sure she'll enjoy the pages I've done. I did a couple more but wasn't too happy about them,so I ain't gonna show them to you.

I rec'd a call from my hep dr. this afternoon,I have to go see him at 5:30 today,hope it's nothing too serious. I don't need bad news right now.

I'll let you know tomorrow if it's good or bad news.
