Happy Canada Day Eh!!!

It's not Canada Day yet,it is only wed,but I won't be here tomorrow and I wanted to wish all my Canadians peeps a Super Canada Day wherever you may be!!!

We are leaving for the camp tonight and will be back on sunday. They are calling for nice weather but I did bring some stampin stuff just in case...You know the weather is often wrong with his forecast!!!

Hey peeps! Hope you all enjoyed your weekend!
I sure did,this is the other card I managed to make at camp over the weekend,once I got home,I added some embellies and did some blog surfing and I'm able to join in these 2 challenges with my card.

Corrosive Challenge is to have lots of flowers,this Anya is the cutest and is the closest I'll get to Hawaii,lol.
I added some primas and an Orchid flower at the top left of the card and with the flowers in her hair,I figure it counts for more flowers.

For the other challenge over at Creative Crew Challenge #53, which is an easel card. I just adore the easel cards,one of my fav. I noticed after i posted that the pearls on my ribbon are not centered,I did center them. And the sentiment is just hand written cause I wanted something to fit there and being at the camp,well
that's all I could come up with.

Now if I can get the colored images put into cards,I'll have a few more cards to post.

Made a couple of cards at the camp

Back from camp!

It was a nice weekend except for friday night,but I got to make 2 cards. It's hard to make cards when you only bring limited supplies and tools with you. But I managed to make this card with a
WOJ stamp. I had to make a girly card which I hadn't done in awhile. Left the oval blank because I will put a sentiment over top when I need it.

We had beautiful weather on saturday so I sat outside in my bathing suit and tanned for a few hours. And went over to some friends camp at night and had lots of fun.
Only one thing,they drink and wake up with no hang over and I don't drink and woke up in the middle of the night with a bad headache!!!
NOT FAIR!!!!

Sorry for being a bad blogger

Oh wow,it seems like forever since I've done anything and haven't posted something. That's what happens when you have health issues,oh well,here's a card finally.

Not much of a card if you ask me but I wanted to use my Fifth Av Floral set from SU,so I pulled it out and heat embossed with SEA emb powder and sponged some Bermuda Bay ink around and on the main flower. The cardstock is pink,added a ribbon and some big pearls and that's what came out of it.

Hope to be able to get back in the groove and visit some of you guys,I sure missed alot in a few days. Hubby's been terribly busy in the building and so I try to help him out with the vacuuming and window cleaning but then I fall 2 steps back. Just can't win!
So if you don't hear from me it is not because I don't want to visit,just been crazy and tired.

Male card

Here is something different for me. It's a card I made last week at my SU night. We used a brayer and Paulette had this set,and shame on me,I should of written the name of it down cause I don't remember what it is called.

I really like how it turned out though,male cards are always a challenge for me.

Happy Father's Day DAD!

Happy thursday all!

I made this card last week as well as 2 others which I haven't posted yet at our SU class last week.
Thank goodness because yesterday and today are not good days. But hey you didn't come here to hear me complain so I thought,hey i've got a couple of cards to show,yay.

Even though my Dear Dad is no longer with us! I still think of him everyday,especially on Father's Day. I think I'll write him a little message,wrap it up and bring it to him at the cemetary. He'll like that i'm sure.

Hope you will have a great weekend,I'm off to the camp once again. At least I'll get some rest,if there isn't too many 4 wheelers going around,lol. They can be loud and noisy those things,hehe!

A simple card

Oh my it's wednesday already~!
Where do the days go??? I made this card yesterday and finally got to post it.

I was going to enter it in the ProMarkers challenge,but I don't have many of them,so this was Pro Markers and SU Markers. I don't think it would be fair if I would enter it. Anyhow,here is my card for today,no sentiment cuz I don't know what I'll use it for.
Did you notice there are NO MS border punches!!
Just thought I'd make a simple card. Added some butterflies from SU,a little charm,some MS glitter on her pants and wings and a flower from my new stash,love 'em!

Tonight,I'm going to play at Paulette's,hopefully we'll get some cards done and not just gabbing. You know us women,lol!

Crafty Sentiments Challenge

An early post for me,hooray!

Yesterday I got lots down,I cleaned my stamproom,which really needed. Did some house cleaning and got 2 cards done. Which is this one and the one I posted yesterday.

So this one is pretty plain but I wanted something simple and also wanted to use the Fleur de Lis pendant that I finally ordered after seeing and drooling over for quite some time.

Thought I'd use it for the CRAFTY SENTIMENT
Challenge which is PINK,BLACK & WHITE only.
Unfortunately I have no Crafty Sentiments stamps but they're allowing us to use any stamps.
Hope this meets the challenge even though it is only a sentiment.

Going to see what I can come up with other images I have colored over the weekend. Maybe I can enter a challenge or two...hmmmm!!!

Magnolia challenge

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We went and relaxed in the bush and like I had said,I did some coloring.

I colored this Tilda in red and blue jeans,added some pearl x in her polka dots. Then thought,navy is a color I barely use,so I gave it a shot. I peeked on the Magnolia Challenge blog and they had a sketch challenge,so why not play.

I used the MS deco fan punch in red & blue,and a flower punch and the circle scalloped nestie and that's about it.

Have a wonderful week,mid June tomorrow already! I can't believe it but in another 10 days,it will be Christmas in 6 months. Scarry thought!

Cute summer monkey

Good friday my friends!

Well I made a fast card so I'd have something to post. It's a CC Design stamp,I thought it would make a cute card for our Godson that will be finishing school soon. He's like a little monkey,so it will suit him just fine.

And now I'm off to our camper! Brought some images to color,hopefully I'll get lots done. They are calling for a blah rainy weekend,so perfect weather to color!

Black & White,& a bit of Pink

Well,how is your wednesday going ? Here it is raining,the perfect day to play!
Like I said earlier,I wanted to play with my new Wild Orchid flowers. So I did just that!

I used a Greeting Farm image,isn't she cute. I used up some black & white scraps and added some pink cs and flowers.
I will probably use this card for a Tops Pal when the achieve a small goal or something.
I got the printed out the sentiment from a Woman's World magazine. They have the 7 days of inspirations and they are just beautiful quotes.

So here is a card for today,finally!

I have been wanting some for quite some time,seeing them all over,drooling over them,so I finally ordered some.
Aren't they just beautiful,I could of bought the whole collection if the wallet would of permitted me,but hey,sometimes we have to put a limit.
Don't you just hate that! LOL!

So now I'm off to check a challenge that I can make and use some of these beauties.
And tonight I have a card night with my SU demonstrator,so can't wait to see what we will be making!

Yummy butterfly paper!

Hi there my friends!

Well it's monday again,I made this card with still no mojo but it turned out pretty good anyways. I didn't put any sentiment as I don't know what I'll be using it for.
I rec'd this beautiful dp from Wish Rak so I just had to use it. And like I said the other day,this image was already colored so I thought it would go with the dp. I added some silver punched flowers and a MS butterfly,added some bling and here is my card.

I've decided,sick or not,I have to get my spring cleaning done,now summer is almost here and I still haven't done my cleaning. So I thought,if i do one room every second day,I should be done in a couple of weeks. We only have a 2 bedroom apt.
Today I did my whole bathroom from top to bottom.Now it smells and looks so fresh!

So if you don't hear from me,that's what i'll be up to,wish me luck,lol!

Nothing to show you 2day! Sorry!

So sorry my friends,but I have nothing to show you today. It's been a rough couple of days or nights I should say. Therefor I've been having some naps in the afternoon and still can't sleep. My mind is just wondering all over. I hate when I do that. So this afternoon I went for a long walk (1hr,that's long for me) then I stopped at the grocery store to pick up stuff to make chicken fahitas,came home,made dinner and now I'm ready for bed.
But I can't go to bed,it's way too early,then I won't sleep tonight!!! No fun!!!
I'm trying to maintain my weight loss which I have kept off for 1 yr now,but that is so hard. I've put on 7 lbs since april and only lost 2 of them.

Oh well,one day at a time,that's all I can do! Hope you are all keeping well. I do visit some blogs when I can't sleep,I come on the computer,then get sleepy,but as soon as I get back in bed...I can't sleep!!!!! I'm sure lots of you have Chronic Fatigue,so you know what i'm talking about.

I need a card for a friend that is in the hospital. I thought this free digi image from MELJEN'S DESIGNS would be perfect.
The sentiment is from Studio G.

There's a Challenge at MELJEN'S DESIGNS which is SILVER & GOLD. You can't really see it in the pic,but the paper is silver and gold,the bow is gold and I used a gold and silver glitter pen for the dots and added some gold and silver brads. So I think it fits the challenge pretty good.
