A cute Thank You card

Well Happy Monday to all! Especially to you in the States that have the day off...enjoy!

I was visiting Lisa's blog yesterday and saw she had made a beautiful card (as always) and one of the challenge was punches. Well,I just had to play,you all know how I love my punches!
So I used my MS monarch butterfly punches and also used the lrg monarch punch. For the sentiment,I just used a computer one on a wh cs,punched the corners and then mounted that on a purple piece and did the same,I really like how it turned out. My cute bear is on a nestie which I colored with my pro markers,added some pearls and some glitter on the butterflies,and it's ready for 2 challenges.

A fun fold card

Well we came back from a very relaxing weekend at the camper. It was so peaceful,there was hardly anyone there,so no 4 wheelers or loud parties. It wasn't the best weather,but we watched movies and I colored a couple of images.
Overall,it was great!

On to my card...I had started a fun fold card on friday but didn't have time to finish it. So when I got home today I put the sentiment and a Basic Grey 3D sticker,added a soft pink ribbon to keep it all together and ta-da!
I can now enter it in the MAWTT Challenge #48 which is "Folds".

This is the inside of the card. Added some wh cs to write a little note with of course a punch border.

Did you know that the BUTTERFLY is the symbol of a transplant!!!

I'm just drained out,did too much again. I don't learn and my DH keeps telling me not to do as much on my good days and I don't listen! I got up at 8 which is really early for me believe it or not. Had my shower,did grocery shopping,did 4 loads of laundry,swept my floors,went for an hour walk and did not have time to play.

We will be going camping friday night to sunday,so I think I'll just bring some images to color in case I get into the groove of things,will see. It's now 11 pm and I can't believe I'm stilll awake.

So guess where I'm heading...to la la land!

I finally got to make a card! It's been sooo hot here!
Monday & tuesday was 41 celsius with the humidex!
Just sat in front of the fan,no air conditioner. So for those of you who have a/c in your homes...APPRECIATE IT!!

So my card for today is for the House Mouse 1st Blog Hop
Challenge. They are calling for Goodbye/Farewell cards.
I thought of this image right away,the sentiments I printed off my computer cause I didn't find anything appropriate for goodbyes.
Of course I had to use some punches and a few blings and that my friends is my card!

You must be thinking where the heck I've been hiding!!
Well as most of you know,I'm still waiting for my transplant and am not suppose to be away more than one hour from home. We have a camper at a campground 45 minutes away from home which is good but our cell phone doesn't reach. We could get a line put in but would cost alot of money. So last year we didn't go at all thinking the tx would happen. Well one year later I still haven't gotten transplanted. So we went to pay our lot rent and cut the grass real quick and when we went to see the park owners she asked us how come we didn't go camping. So we told her the whole story and she said WELL MY POOR GIRL,GIVE THEM OUR # AND WE'LL GO GET YOU!!!
I told her it could be in the middle of the night,and she said oh I understand and I would be more than happy to do that for you!
SO THERE ARE STILL SOME GREAT PEOPLE OUT IN THIS FUNNY WORLD!!!
Guess where we we're...and it was a long weekend to boot! It was nice and relaxing! And the weather was gorgeous and I was surrounded with butterflies all weekend!!!
Needless to say...I WAS A HAPPY CAMPER!

The card is a fast and cheating card I call it. I bought these 3D sticky sets at Sear's of all places. They we're 90% off,so I paid like .35 cents each,hehe.

I'm going to stop yapping away now,if you got this far in the post,you must be bored,but I'm happy so have a wonderful day!

This saying is so true!!! Quixotic Challenge!

Good evening my friends,I am posting this pretty late,it's now 10:50 pm. That is late for me,
I'm usually in bed by now.
I had a sleepless night last night so I didn't post today,but did manage to go play with Paulette tonight. So I made this card and started another.I must tell you this,I laughed so much,Paulette was looking for some embellishment I believe in one of her drawer display thingys,so she pulls it out and yells EEEEEKKKKK! There was a BIG SPIDER in there!!!! I don't like spiders either,but thought I'll be the brave one,so I take the drawer to the bathroom,then Paulette and I,lol,she holding it and I getting a tissue,we finally got the thing out and bye bye down the toilet it went.
Why are we so scared of those??? Creepy things!It was funny,just had to be there,lol!

The card fits the Challenge at Quixotic Challenge which is HOW SENTIMENTAL!

It's a pretty simple card,love the SU paper. Sorry about the pic,but I just wanted to show you tonight in case I get another bad night tonight and not post again tomorrow. Anyways,here it is.
Yes,you're prob saying,another easel card! I find they are so nice and different. Used some nesties and some flower punches with some pearls and bling. And can't forget my punches,lol!

A whole lotta punchin' going on!

I went crazy with my punches,lol!

First off,for my card,I wanted to try to make the circle punch which I had seen on Lisa's blog HERE. I didn't have the same punch as she used but I still wanted to try it cause I really liked what she had done.
So last night I made an easy easel card using a whole lotta punches from MS.
For the circle I used Deco Fan, for the pink cs & dp I used Eyelet Lace and for the flower I used 2 diff sizes of the Pop Up Water Lily.The sentiment is SU Whimsical Words stamped in melon mambo and the matching ribbon.

I made this card last week,well actually,I had colored the image and left it. The image is a Freebie from Little C
If you want to drop by her blog,you won't regret it,she does great work and she's so sweet!
Then I wanted to use the Tear Drop Punch (MS) which isn't one that I like that much.
Now that I see it on the card,maybe with my next card,
anyways,it's a simple card,I added some glitter on the strawberry's green,some brads and the sentiment is off my puter.
Reminds me of when I was a little girl,Strawberry Shortcake dolls,candies,clothes...that's a long time ago!

House Mouse Challenge

Hey everyone! Hope you are having a great weekend! I spent some of my weekend playing which was fun cause I got to make a couple of challenges.

This is my first time entering the HMChallenge,
I've always loved these little critters on images only though. Their challenge is to Distress something on your piece. So I distressed the 2 pieces of cs. Of course I had to use a border punch and added some tiny gems and voila.
Now I have a B'day for my stash and I played a new challenge for myself! Awesome!

PINK GEM DESIGNS Challenge

My card for today is for the Pink Gem Challenge which is to use Burgundy,Pink & Green.
Here's Kaya with flowers from Pink Gem of course,I just love their stamps. So I paper pieced her dress in embossed pink,used some SU burgundy DP,the card is in green and so is the ruffle on her dress. I embellished it with MS butterflies sponged in burgundy and also the senitment.
Added some pearls and how do like my new MS border punch,modern garland.

I told you I was addicted to punches,I counted them all yesterday,I have mostly MS,SU,Fiskars,and other brands.
In total I have 98 PUNCHES!!!! Isn't that crazy!!!

Butterflies and Blossoms

Woohoo,2nd post today. The weather is the perfect weather to stamp,so that's exactly what I'm doing.

This card is for the Sir StampAlot Challenge which is Butterflies and Blossoms.
So I used Willow from WOJ and the MS monarch butterfly punches,the border punch is also MS-Topiary and the MS lily flower punch.

Not sure if I'll be playing tonight,if it was up to me,I would,but I do have to spend time with my DH once in awhile!

A girl never has too many purses

Hope you're having a better weather day than we are. It is raining cats and dogs here. Oh well,a great day to stay inside and play maybe.

So this is the other project I made wed night at my class. Sorry about the picture,the purse looks in the blues and it's actually lilac and Rich Razzleberry,me and pics,lol. And the card does match the bag.

I wanted to enter some challenges but just can't get into it this week. Maybe next week!

Flowers Just For You!

I went to play with my SU demonstrator yesterday!
We made this cute flower pot note holder that I will be making more of I'm sure!
And I rec'd my order,yay,the Oval All set,I know,it's not that new,but I had to have it,and I finally got the oval scallop punch and some ribbon.
We also made another project which I will post tomorrow. It was fun Paulette,Thanks again!

Fast post,I woke up earlier than usual cause my belly was hungry,came on here while having my cereal and now I'm tired again. So I'll go for a snooze and maybe go for a walk! I went for a short walk yesterday and it felt great. I have to get back into it cause the lbs are creeping up on me and I can't lose my Kops status. So I'll just have stay away from carbs and get walking!!!

A different card for me...

Here's a different card for me which I even Like!

I'm really a girly image type of gal,like Magnolias of WOJ,stuff like that,so coloring flowers was really a challenge for me. This is a freebie from Little Paper Shop, I had downloaded a while back and printed and finally used it.

So I colored with SU markers ans some Pro Markers. And yes another NEW PUNCH! I seriously think I'll have to go to PA Punch Anonymous!LOL! I bought 5 more today!
I couldn't resist...I had a gift card which I still have money left on and I had some 40% coupons and 2 of the punches we're already on clearance sale. So I couldn't resist.

The sentiment is from The Woman's World magazine,You know the column of Inspirations,I keep the ones I like and thought,why not print them. So there it is a different card that I likie!!!! Hope you do too!

My card for today was suppose to be for a challenge,I got the colors right but when I went to go back and enter it the challenge,I saw there was also a sketch to follow. Which I didn't do.
So cute card anyways,I used one of my fav stamps,Cuddly Buddly,used the SU embossing folder,added some pearls on the embossed flowers and brads to the primas. How do you like my little Iron Picket Fence,isn't cute,another new punch I got. Added some brown leaves and the sentiment is also SU.

I tell ya,I'm addicted to punches! The only problem,they are so hard to store. I've been checking diff ideas but haven't found what i'm looking for yet. Might have to get my hubby to build me something.

My card for today is one I forgot to post,I made it on wed night using the SU in colors and the Flight of Butterfly set.I also used MS Eyelet Lace punch for the border and SU butterfly punch for the 3D butterfly. Also added some lilac pearls on the stamped flowers.
You'd think I like butterflies or something huh,lol!

The sun is shining which is wonderful after getting some snow yesterday. So I might just attempt to go for a walk this afternoon which I haven't done in awhile.

Princess Anya For Linda

It's friday again, I can't believe,but I think I say that every thursday.

So yesterday DH & I went for a nice dinner at this Italian Club that have a little buffet. We don't go there often cuz we just eat tooooo much,their lasagna just melts in your mouth. So as I am typing this post (prepost)my belly is soar! Now I don't have to eat for 2 days,lol.
It was good and nice and relaxing,we really enjoyed our dinner.

Now on to my card. I used an Anya image I had from Wish Rak,been using my images lately,I have so many of them. I don't think I'll ever see the end of my 3 photo boxes of raks. I used the same dp as the card previous and the sentiment is for a Tops Member which she became a KOPS!
My Tops group are sure keeping me busy,lol! But I love every minute of it,gives me reasons to make cards! I made the flower at the bottom with a pearl in the middle & some gemstone stickers,cute huh!

So there you have it,a card for today,an early post and have a fantastic weekend!

Happy 10th Anniversary to us and a card!

First off,I'd like to show you one of the cards I made at Paulette's last night. I went to play for a few hours and got 2 cards done and started a third one.
I used all SU products, The in colour cs and dp,Butterfly of Happiness and Flight of the Butterfly stamp sets,the butterfly punch and the ribbon are all SU. The I used my new MS punch around the page which is Eyelet Lace.

Now I want to tell you what a wonderful husband I have.


I was so shocked and happy when I got this!!!!


My Hubby is the GREATEST,yesterday I wanted to go to Michael's to get a punch I wanted and had a coupon,so he says why don't we go tomorrow,I said,no I want to use it tonight when I go to Paulette's. So he pulls out a gift card of Michael's which he had gotten for me for our 10th Anniversary which is today May 6th.
So I go in to the the Iron Gate punch around the page and since I had a big gift card I also got another punch around the page and a few other things.

Then last night before I went to bed,he says I have something else for you,can I give it to you right now. He's worse than a kid when he gets me something,he has to give it to me right away,lol. To make a long story short...he gave me this NETBOOK for when I get my tx,he says you'll be able to keep up with your blogging friends!

Isn't he the best!!!! He is an Angel sent to me from my parents up above! He's there through sickness and health let me tell you. He's my friend,my soulmate,my driver,my cook,my handyman,my laundry guy,he makes me laugh when I cry,even though he talks alot,lol,I LOVE HIM VERY MUCH and looking forward to many more decades with him!

Some scrapbooking layouts!!!

Well I got my Kops layout pages done for tonight. I hope she will like them.
On the left is her story and I added some 3D flowers and butterflies as embellishments and also added some positive words which she had in her story. On the right is her before and after phots again with some embellishments.
I used the Deco Fan all around punch and mounted that on the beige cs to match her story.

It was actually fun making them but took me forever,I hadn't done a layout in so long. I'm really glad how it turned out.
So tonight I'm off to my meeting,hope she'll like them!

I have to get working on a card for DH!!! And I need some B'day and TYou cards which I will work on tomorrow night at Paulette's!

If friends we're like flowers,I'd pick you and you and...

Last night I colored this Tilda image with no dp in mind or anything. I colored her top and then wanted some blue jeans (sorta) and I new the flowers had to be purple,
but I did (like I always do) have a hard time with the hair. I need practice with that.
So then I went in my scraps and pulled some cs to mount her on and used another new MS punch Deco Fan.Added some bling and flower and the leaf punch is also MS. Oh and I added a wee tiny ribbon.

Now I have to get a card for my hunny for thursday,it will be our 10th Anniversary. Time flies by when you have a Wonderful Spouse!
And I also need to make 2 layouts for our Kops album for a member that became a Kops at Tops. I started an album with all our Kops so members can be inspired with their stories and before and after pics. The group really like this idea and i enjoy making them.

So off I go to play! Have a fab week everyone~!

Hey there Teddy Bear!

My card for today is for the Just Cute Bears challenge.
Which is Buttons and Bows,so I colored this cute image which I had in my box from Wish Rak,I popped him up even though you can't really see it in the picture. Added a bow at the top with 2 brad buttons and the punch is from MS which I got at 50% off (Bonus). And I added some mini pearls at the each corners of the punch.
Sorry for the bad photo,I didn't want to wait til tomorrow to post this and the lights in my room aren't the greatest.

My friend Paulette just started her own blog,which I helped her with a bit.Between her and I with the bit of knowledge we have with computers,we're able to start her up this afternoon. She is a loving, caring SU demonstrator and has started her business just a short time ago.

Wish big!

I need lots of B'day cards this month. So this is one of them,isn't she cute!
I rec'd her in SCS Wish Rak last week and just had to color her,I really like how it turned out.

I'm attempting to color with the Pro Markers,I don't have many of them and will need lots of practise,lol.

For the dp,I used the Welcome Neighbour palet that my SU demonstrator treated me with.The ribbon is from Michael's,some primas and the sentiment is SU and I can't forget the MS branch punch.

It is gloomy and calling for rain again today,it rained last night with a few thunders which I was listening to when I couldn't sleep. So I hope to play again,gotta get crackin' on some B'day cards!
