Thanks for ...

Thanks Shann, you are the best niece anyone can have, serioulsy!!! And Thank You to all my friends in blog land,I'm sure your thoughts and prayers are helping tremendously because she is still with us!

We came back from Sudbury late last night,my poor SIL Ginette is still in the same condition.
Lying there just breathing. One comforting thing is that someone is watching over her. The way it happened, she is still lucky to be with us.
She is on a breathing machine, has a tube in her mouth and nose, she is so swollen. It's so hard to see someone you LOVE in this condition. As I type this and talk about it,I just can't keep myself from crying. My husband Al and one of his brother are the ones that we're with her at the hospital. We talk to her to let her know we are there with her,but there is no sign, poor sweetie, she is just lying there. Thank GOD,she has the best care!

Today is her daughter's Tasha,11 th Birthday, and as of yesterday, the nurses told us she wasn't aloud to see her mother. I can't imagine what is going through her head. I have never had any children,I don't know what to tell her, please Mothers out there, help me find the right things to tell her. I feel so helpless,we all feel that way, there is nothing we can do for Ginette.

The attack was so massive, that it toar her heart, and she has one of her main arteries blocked at 100%.Now before they can do anything for her that tear has to heal. The nurses told us it is so critical,it can go either way. We CANNOT loose her, her daughter needs her so much!
Ginette is the kind of person that would give her shirt off her back for anyone! A hard worker,a wonderful cook, lol,we love it when we have any family get together at her place.
And one sad thing...her husband isn't there much for her,her marriage isn't the greatest.

So again,Thanks for the thoughts and prayers and please keep doing what you're doing,we need all the help we can get! My husband and one of his brother are heading back there tomorrow morning (thurs) so they can be there for the 1st visit and I will stay home an extra night to try to get some sleep and leave with his other bro and sil friday morning. I just hope and pray she will be ok.

Please God make things OK for Ginette and her Daughter Tasha and all of us that want to keep with us.
I will keep you posted til tomorrow night and I don't know when I'll be back, but hopefully it will be a post with good news.

Please take good care of yourselves,we just don't know what will happen at any second. One day we're here the next we might not be. Hug your family and tell them you love them!!!!

Ohhhh Diane she is in my thoughts and prayers! She sounds likes she has amazing strength and with everyone pulling for her she will get through this. Her poor daughter, I can't imagine how she's feeling, just keep telling her that her mom just needs time to heal.

I will be praying, please keep us updated!

And hugs to you all!

You are in my prayers today, especially for your SIL and her daughter. I can't imagine the fear and anxiety her 11 yr. old must feel now, but just give her lots of hugs and give her comfort. I know that if it were me in the hospital, I would (of coure WANT to be okay for my daughters & husband) and more than anything is for my girls to be okay and feel that God will take care of mommy (and them)! It's in these times when we need to lean on and trust God for everything! So I pray that HE will draw everyone close to Him and that He will give them peace, give the doctors and nurses a special touch to heal her, and draw her FAMILY closer together.

Oh my gosh Diane........yes, constant prayers being sent up!!! I can't imagine her dd celebrating a birthday under these circumstances, but just knowing that she's loved and that you all love her mom and are keeping the faith will be invaluable to her!!! Please e-mail your addy again (I'm so sorry I lost it and still have the card for you.....I'm being terribly disorganized lately!) as I'd also love to send a card to Tasha!! Big Hugs!!!

Such a tragedy Diane, I am deeply saddened for you all. Give her daughter as much love and support as you possibly can. Tell her that her Mom loves her so very much! Go to the chapel together and pray. God bless this poor frightened young girl! Thank God she has you and the other family members! Let us know how it goes. Blessings, Deb

Diane, I am still praying hun. Keep lovin her daughter for her right now while she can't. I am sure any mother would not want their child to see them in that state but would definately want someone they love and trust assuring their child how much they love them. I am hugging you!!!!

I think Kristine say it best. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I would just keep telling Tasha how much her mommy loves her and that God is trying to heal her so they can be together again, mommy needs her rest to heal properly. Maybe make a cupcake put a candle in it and have her make a wish and say the cupcake is from mommy, until she is better again.
Please also take care of yourself, we don't want you getting run down either and affect your health.
Hang in there we are praying for all of you.
Angel hugs

Dear Diane, you are all in my prayers but most of all Ginette and her little daughter Tasha. Poor darling little child. You have to try and ensure her that her Mom needs to rest and that is why at this time she can't see her. Tell her God is watching over her Mom and will take good care of her and soon everything will be Ok. Keep your wonderful faith and know we all love you and feel your pain in this dreadful time. Hugs, Pat

I haven't been able to visit the blog for a while and it's like fate brought me here tonight to add my prayers to everyone else's. You just have to believe there was a reason why the heart attack happened at the hospital and not elsewhere where it could have been fatal. It's not her time yet! I will pray for her, you, and the whole family, but I also know that she will pull through this! She just needs time to heal! Please hang on to that knowledge and hope to keep you all strong during her recovery!

Dear Father in Heaven, we call on your name to hold Ginette in your arms. We ask for healing Lord. We ask for peace. We ask for your presence to surround this precious family. Please cover Diane and her family with your comfort. We know YOU are able to do more than we can imagine. Let us see your hand at work in these hurting lives. Amen!

Hi Diane,
Cristina asked me to visit you, because of what has happened to your SIL.
I echo her prayer, and will continue to lift you all up.
Yes, Lord, please hold this family close to Your heart. Show them Your power, and give them Your peace.
As for Ginette's precious daughter, I think there may not be words adequate for her. Are you familiar with Casting Crowns? They have a wonderful song about people who are suffering. The chorus reminds us what to do - Love her like Jesus, carry her to Him. His yoke is easy, His burden is light. You don't need the answers to all of life's questions. Just know that He loves her and stay by her side. Love her like Jesus.

Great song. Truth.

Praying for you,
