How 'bout a cup of teddy!

My card for today is pretty plain & simple.

I used a Cuddly Buddly stamp which I adore.The Just for yu and the cupcake paper are paper pieced even though you can't tell,lol. I added some MS glitter on the cupcake and the rest is like I said plain & simple.

So our weather today is like they had called for,rain and gloomy,duck weather I call it.
So I'm either going to visit some of my blogging friends or make another card.

Thank You !

I went to play at Paulette's house last night. We talked more than anything but at least I got 2 cards done,all she did was talked,right Paulette,lol!!!

It sure is nice to chat and create!

I need to make TY cards and when I go over to someone's house I don't like to haul tons of stuff. So I brought the confetti cs from SU some dp and punches and ended up with these 2 cards and no scraps,yay!!!

Here's another Thank You card using the same dp and punch.

Can you believe tomorrow is friday already! They are calling for rain all weekend,so it's either I do housework or cards......hmmmmm!
I wonder what it will be,hehe!!!

My new MS punch

Happy hump day!!!

Well after having a rough night,I had a pretty good day. I made a card with my new MS punch!
I saw it on a few blogs so I just had to have it.

The image is from wish rak and I added some MS butterflies,a dragonfly charm,some stickles on her wings which you can hardly see,a few gems and I like the way it turned out.

On top of that I made a Chicken fried rice with lots of veggies which all goes in the oven,so easy peasy dinner.
And tonight I'm going to play at Paulette's!

So overall,I had a great hump day!

I didn't know where I was going with it,what color to use.So I peeked in some Creative Memories dp I had for forever,so I went with these colors.
The sentiment is SU Circle of Friends.

My hubby just went to pick up my Mustang from the storage place. I'm not even excited about it cause I can't drive it,they took my license away last July due to high ammonia levels due to my liver disease,life is so unfair!!!!!

I found a new Bear challenge

Hello everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend!
Mine was quiet as usual,never anything exciting in my life,lol. But I did manage to make a card for a challenge.

It's a challenge I found through Cherie's blog.
TEDDY'S STAMPERS
The challenge was to make a card with a Teddy Bear and using Red & White colors. I've had this bear for a long time and haven't used it in forever. So one with this image I went,added the MS border punch,the MS big punch heart in Red And White and used the tiny hearts from the border punch to make the trail of hearts on the side.
I also used so glossy accents on his eyes and nose. The XOXO is a dollar stamp from Michael's,oh it is an easel card again. Love 'em!

I was telling my sis in law today,in 8 months it's Christmas! Yikes!!! Why is it when we get older,time just flies by??? Hope to get more energy so I can clean some windows tomorrow and make at least one card!

Way to go!!!!

This card is for a fellow Tops member which was having a hard time losing. Actually,she was doing alot of exercises which build muscles and we all know muscles weigh alot. So I told her,don't get discouraged,it'll show on the scale and last week she was happy with her number.
So I just wanted to send her a little note,and really liked how this all came along.
I used the new papers I got the other day and a Star stamp set someone special sent me!!! I popped up the Melon Mambo Star and also popped up the raspberry cs over the ribbon. I'm sure she'll like it,they enjoy it when they get a card and I love making them,so there we go!!!!

I went to play last night!

I went over to Paulette's house last night to make the cards my SU demonstrator had while I was gone on holidays. So I'm kinda late,but I'll have them for next year,nothing like being in advance!
So we made these 3 cards and a little basket which I forgot to include in the pic.

So once a month she has a class and then the following weeks,when I'm up to it,I go over and we just do whatever and chat chat chat. Exchange ideas and punches and stamp sets,It's so much fun!!!

I know you come and peek on my blog Paulette,so Thanks for everything!!!! You're such a sweetheart!
When I got home to put my order away,there was this wonderful surprise in my bag!The Welcome Neighbo designer 6x6 papers.

My SU demonstrator is the best,I love surprises,lol! Thanks so much Paulette!!!

So now I just finished cleaning my work area so I can mess it all over again! Going to check out what I can come up with!

Willow went shopping!

Happy Tuesday almost Wednesday folks!

I had a lazy day yesterday and today,just no energy!
But I did manage to make a card in 2 days,lol. Better than none right.
I used Shopping Willow from WOJ which the image was given to me by Celine (Merci encore Celine!).

I wanted to play the WOJ challenge,but when I went back to make sure i had everything right...gee whiz,I had the colors wrong,it was green and yellow! All along I thought it was green and pink. So when not well,don't create,hehe. I still like the way it turned out.

Sitting Chloe

Hey there! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

Mine was quiet as usual,but I did manage to make one of my fav type of card,an easel card.
I used Sitting Chloe which I won from PINK GEM,she is so cute. I used 2 MS punches and I had these felt flowers from a long time ago,added some pearls on it and the rest is pretty simple.

I must go for an ultrasound tomorrow morning,(monday morning that is),no no I'm not pregnant,lol.
They want to check my spleen and liver to see how much enlarged they are. I have pains on both sides at times,so they will be checking for ascites (bloating in the abdomen) which isn't good. They had to give me the earliest appt of course,6:45 am,don't they know I am just falling asleep by then,lol. Oh well,I'll just come back to bed afterwards. I best get to bed now.

So it's monday again and it'll be friday again. So have a good day!

Yes I was blessed with winning these 2 cute stamps from Pink Gem Designs. They have a monthly challenge and always have great prizes! The one on the left is Sitting Chloe and the other is Kaya with Flowers. I can't wait to play,I think I'll try and color one tonight and see what happens,lol.

I wish I was more in the mood to make cards,I have so much new stuff to play with and just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe next week will be better.

Life is sweet

I knew friday would creep up on us again.

I made a fast card so I'd have something to post.
It seems I haven't got any mojo or time lately and I don't know why cause I don't have a job.
But the days go by too quick...anyways,on with my little card.

I used a stamp from a set I won from Mudmaven,or Chris,it's a wonderful Treat Set from Craft lounge and I love it. If you visit Chris,she is one amazing lady and card maker,you'll love her work.
It's my first card with it and I'll have to use it often cause there's lots of yummy stamps and sentiments with this set.
The paper is Sweet Talk from K&Company,the ribbon is another win from the past and I added some stickles to make the cupcakes yummy and some glossy accent on the big cupcake's brown icing.

No card but...someone needs some blogging love!

I have no card for today but am asking you to show my niece Shannon - Tyrymom stamps alot some love!
She has been away from stamping for over a year and is thinking of getting back into it!

So why not pop on over there and Welcome her back. We did get together once in awhile to stamp before and I'm hoping to do the same again,it was so much fun!!

I also wanted to show you the bargoon I got at Michael's yesterday. They had some acrylic stamps on sale for $2.99 and I don't have any wedding stamps at all,can you believe that,so I got this one. Can't go wrong at that price can you!

Just cute bears Challenge

Happy Spring for a Just Cute Bears Challenge.
The challenge was to use flowers,and of course a stamp of any kind with a bear.

The stamp is from Cuddly Buddly and it is called Chin Up.
From the pic,the colors don't show well,but the cs is from SU in colors (orange) and the dp is from a pile of paper I didn't know I had,lol. I added some primas with embellies and that's pretty much it.

Happy B'day from Mimi!

Happy Sunday peeps!

Today's card is yet for another challenge.
The Pink Gem Challenge #3 is calling for a Birthday Card. I used Party Mimi from Pink Gem,which I bought last year and don't use it enough. She is so cute!
I used pinks & blues and used the polka dot CB to emboss the blue cs and the scallop nestie. Used a light yellow circle scallop and added some pink pearls and I used some glossy accents for her shoes. I remember when I was a kid I had some black shiny shoes like that. And the sentiment is from my Cricut.

WOJ challenge

Today's card is was made with the WOJ challenge
#74. It was yet another great sketch and I just had to play. I went in the lilacs and purples to use up some of my scraps.
I didn't add a sentiment just yet,not sure what or when I will give this card,so into my stash it goes.

Well it's the weekend once again and it's still snowing here!!! It's been snowing non stop for more than 24 hrs now. I think we got our fair share.

B'day Wish for my SIL

Hello my dear blogging friends!
Well this morning we woke up to 15cm of SNOW!
Yuck!!!!!! Now tomorrow it's suppose to rain,I'm sure it'll all melt by tomorrow night.
But come on Spring,I want to see flowers and birds and butterflies and most of all,SUNSHINE!

On with my card...I used a HH image I had in my stock. This card is going to my S-I-L for her 40th B'day on saturday.
She is throwing her own Mardi Gras Party!
So I thought with Maggies necklace and looked a bit Mardi Gras,I hope she likes it!
Used some stickles on her boa and some liquid pearl on her necklace and lots of embellies which I love.

I'm off to visit some blogs and hope to get a card in for a challenge.

I met my BFF!!!

I must tell you a little story...last summer,I met this lady,Anne,on a site for people that have rec'd or waiting for an organ. Anne had rec'd a liver,like I am waiting for mine. So we found each other,she is also from Ontario but 8 hrs away from me. We have been emailing each other everyday and call each other once in awhile . She has helped me sooooo much through this waiting period,cause if anyone knows how I feel,it is her,having gone through it. It has been almost 9 yrs since she has had her transplant and doing extremely well. She had a rough time prior to the tx but like she says,well worth it now.

So when I was telling her about going on my trip,knowing she lives close to airport,I asked her if she would like to drive to our motel room cause we had to stay overnight in Toronto before flying to Dominican the next morning. Well if she could of screamed any louder,I think I'd be deaf,lol. So we did meet,do we look happy or what????
She is the nicest lady I have ever met,she is my mentor. We we're suppose to meet only when I rec my tx,she was to come and visit me at the hospital which will be 2 hrs away from her home.
But God has taken care of me once again,we met earlier!!! We each had a gift for each other,with butterfly stuff of course.

I will be sending her this card to Thank her for the beautiful gift she gave me and to also Thank her to drive there to meet us.

So this card is for Anne and I'm entering it for the Just Cute Bears challenge which was to use yellow and green.

My card is all SU cs,dp,brads & ribbon.

Joy fold card

Today's card is a Joy Fold that I saw on a blog,and I forgot which one so I could give her credit for it.
I used an image of Sarah Kay which I had rec'd from SCS wish rak. I went with lilacs and pinks,really girly!

No sentiment,cause I don't when I will use it.

And this is the inside of the card. Not too fancy but I thought I'd leave the inside white so I can write a message.

WOJ challenge

I finally got to make a card! After getting everything back in it's place,had a good night sleep. Time to get back in somekind of a routine.

We went for a brunch which I ate too much again,
but now it's time to get serious about losing the lbs i put on my holiday!
On with the card...

I wanted to participate in the WOJ challenge which is 1 ribbon,2 buttons and 3 papers. I've had this stamp for awhile and haven't used him much.
Don't know why cause he's so cute.
I used some boyish papers I had in my pile and I like how it turned out.

Now I'm off to play some more cause DH is busy cleaning his shed,yay,I get to play!

Back from my holiday!!!

Hello my blogging friends,well,we had to come back home! Didn't find a job in Punta Cana,our spanish wasn't good enough,lol!

This is a shot from our room which we we're on the 3rd floor. It was an amazing week!!! The weather was too hot,we had to stay in the pool which the water was so warm. I burnt my feet,had a hard time wearing sandals. This was our 6th vacation in hot spots but normally we go in January,this time of year was way too hot!

It was so nice to get away,take some sun and have some fun!
Looking forward to visiting all of you soon!
