It's a better day!

Feeling better today,but my DH is still in rough shape. So I'll let him sleep it off and I got to play.
Made a card for no reason,but I'm sure I'll use it one day.
Very simple,using a MS punch and one of the new nesties I got.

I'm entering this card in the CCH#47 PUNCH IT CHALLENGE over HERE.

Don't know 'bout you guys,but I sure put on some pounds.
I overdid it with the sweets,now it's to ween off of it,I feel like an addict (even though I've never been one),but I guess craving sugar,I might just be one. Started watching my intake today so that those 6 pounds will come off in the next couple weeks. So easy to put on and so hard to come off aren't they!

Well,I'm off to play,hope you are all enjoying your day and getting ready to ring in the New Year!
I'll be celebrating my 5 month ann. of my transplant on the 31st,I've been so blessed! Thanks again to my HERO,MY DONOR!!!!

Still here,just exhausted!

Hello my friends! Hope you all had a Wonderful Christmas and are all in good health! We had a busy week. My DH's brother,so my BIL had a heart attack,but he's doing well. It all happened a week before Xmas,then some of their family came up. They live 18 hrs away from here.
So we got to spend time with his Mother,one sis and her son and one brother with his wife and 2 kids. It's the first time that my hubby had so many family members with him for Xmas!
So he was thrilled,but I am exhausted,running to the hospital at first,then he came out,so it was getting together here or there,but we we're pretty much together all the time.

Now we're all sick,especially my hubby,he caught the cold that all your muscles ache. He's been in bed since last night,but I did manage to get him to have a shower and a bit to eat this afternoon. I only got the headache and a bit of a soar throat.

So now they have all gone,we are going to recooperate and try to get rid of these bugs!

A treat for my Doctor!

I just came back from delivering this to my Family Doctor!

The image is a stamp I had bought last year and don't think I ever used it,I'm terrible,still have so many I haven't used. There's always next year.

I used my new label 10 nesties and made an easel card,added some gold glitter around the image,popped up the sentiment used a fiskars border punch and added some gold xmas trees to hold up the easel.
Oh,also added some MS Sugar cube flakes on her hat!
Sure hope she enjoys the pail of goodies,got that at Michael's last yrs clearance sale for dirt cheap.So now I get to use them this yr.

Well,tonight is our Tops Christmas dinner,I'm feeling really tired right now,so I best get a nap,then get ready for my dinner,cause I have to help out for the weigh in tonight,the weight recorder lady is out of town. So I fill in when I can...so I'm off to get energized,lol!

Got new nesties and changed my organization for them

MICHAEL'S GOT SOME NESTIES IN STOCK FINALLY!!! So I had a 50% coupon and bought Label ten and my hubby went and bought me 3 others with other coupons at 40% off that he got from the salesclerk! He's such a charmer,lol!

From this board to....check below!!!

I used an old CD pouch that holds 24 CD's. I know,most people don't even have cd's anymore,but I've still got some,so I used this old pouch. If I want to bring it to use at a class or something,it'll be so easy and also easy to store.

Here is the finished product. I put a magnetic strip on a strip of black cardstock so it could slide easily in the pouch. And put the the nesties on the strip and added the label title on each pouch.

So it takes way lots less room than that big board doesn't it. It was my DH's idea,he's so brilliant!

Well,my weekend didn't go as planned due to Mr. Winter! We we're suppose to go and watch our Godson play hockey,then I was to have a sleep over so I could bake with my niece,His mother.
But....we had a snow storm with a -33 degrees with the windchill. So needless to say,we stayed home!
It's ok though,I got to make my peanut butter cookies and another fudge recipie and I had to make 9 more cards for the Tops pals,I had counted wrong,so I finally got to finish that. I also had to sign them with a little message in all 39 of them,that took a few hours,lol!

So the card was one I had made a while back,another easy peasy one. Overall,it was a productive weeekend.

I love to give!!!

Here's a card which I used some left over dp and used the Lovely as a tree set.The sentiment is from M's.


Well,I overdid myself,I thought I was super woman,lol! Now I must stay quiet until sunday. I'm going to watch our Godson play hockey,he's only 8 and it's his first yr playing hockey. Then I'm sleeping over cause I'm going to be baking that night and the whole day on monday with his mom,my niece. It will be lots of fun but very tiring for me.


This will be part of my Secret's Pal revealing night on tuesday,I'll be making her gift tags and a few small cards and a little something else. I added a purse calenda and a xmas pen also and made a tiny little basket and added a few chocolates and candy canes.




Just a treat!!! Hope she'll enjoy it!

Not sure if I'll be posting tomorrow,depends how the baking is coming along! I made my niece a little surprise,see she has asked me if I wanted to help her do some baking cause she sells baking trays. She makes these beautiful trays! So I made her some little tags,I'll take pics and post them once they are done.

A card and some CHOCOLATE FUDGE!!!

I told you yesterday I was having a wonderful day! I did laundry,made a couple cards and made some Choc Fudge...

As for the card,it's again the beautiful paper from SU and used the Sidekick Sayings set with reds and greens.Added a red ribbon and some glittery brads and a star for the tree.

This is the before pic,lol. 8" pan lined with parchment paper.









And the finished product!Don't they look yummy,they are! I had to taste test a couple,my hubby did too and so did my Brother in law,so it's an easy,yummy recipie!

Here's the recipie:
3 Cups of semi sweet choc. chips
1 Can of Eagle Brand (Sweetened condensed milk)
2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup of walnuts

Melt Choc. Chips with Eagle Brand (on stove top),Remove from heat once melted,stir in vanilla and nuts.Spread evenly in parchment paper lined on 8" square pan. Chill for 4 hours or until firm.Removefrom pan and peel off paper. Cut into squares. Makes about 2 lbs.

Purple Frosty!

I just had to post this card right away! I can honestly say I'm so happy with it! It's all in the purples for a Tops Secret Pal which we are to reveal next week. She just loves purples so I thought of making her a card and something else which I'll be working on in the next few days. Not sure what it will be yet,but it'll match the card of course.
It's yet another easel card,I added some snowman/women brad along with the sentiment.
I used the SU Frosty stamp set...I adore this set!
Also used MS holly punch,a corner sissex and a couple of layers of cs and voila!
Oh my fudge looks yummy,I'll take a pic and put the recipie on here tomorrow just for you Lisa!

What a great day I'm having...I'M SO HAPPY!!!!!

Fast card

Another fast card! I just started my cards too late. But with the circumstances I'm sure everyone understands. I'm trying to make as many as I can to send them out. And then I need to make some for my family and of course the Man of my Life! So I gotta get going again today!

I'm also going to make a fudge recipie,hope it turns out,I'll let you know,lol.
I can't sleep,been awake since 2 am,it is now 4:50
I've checked my emails,posted this card,now maybe I should try to get a few more zzzzzzsssss.

Birthday wishes

Happy B'day Judy! This card is for my cousin/tops member. Today is her Birthday,I really like how it turned out. I had this image from Wish Rak a while back and never got to color her cause I had the shakes so much.
Well,I'm pleased to say,my shakes are 100% gone!!!
I'm blessed to have rec'd my liver transplant and Thank my donor,my hero more than once a day! I do think alot of the family though. While I'm celebrating life,they are grieving terribly I am sure. But like my husband said,it was the donor's wish to give his organs and now I am enjoying everyday I have so much more!

The card is a an easel card,used my new nestie and added some balloons from an old Bella image I had. Popped them up and the sentiment is from Michael's.

It was nice to get a break from Xmas cards,even though I still have lots of Xmas cards to make. I gotta get crackin'!

Christmas Greetings

Good Tuesday Morning!! Yet another Xmas card!
I'm posting this early aren't I,usually post later in the day
but I had to go for my bi-weekly bloodwork and I must fast and need to go really early. There's always a line up of people,so I leave my house by 6:45 am to be in line for when they open at 7:30,otherwise I don't make it in time to get my bloodwork done before 9:00,cause I must take my anti rejection pills at 9:00.
So that is why my card is already posted,cause I might go back to bed,lol.

Anyways,on to the card...very easy,I had some K&Company stickers which I mounted on a nestie and the rest is easy peasy! Added a beautiful bow which I recycled
and ta-da!!!

Clean & Simple Holiday Wishes!

Hello Friends,Yep,I'm still here! I've been so busy!
Trying to do so many things at once and it ain't working much,so I decided to take it slower. I made myself a list and checking it off as things get done. I also made a list of baking that I want to do,it's so exciting cause I haven't done any baking in a few years. So yesterday I made Banana Bread and each weekend I will make a diff recipie and my baking will be done for the Holidays.
I also made 6 cards yesterday,so I'll have something to post,they we're all clean and simple but at least I got some done!

So my shopping is DONE,did a good clean-up and put some decorations up,woohoo! Today I cleaned all my floors,went grocery shopping. Wow! It's a good day!!! I had a rough week last week and the last 3 days have been wonderful!

I'm so happy go get good days now! Before it was more bad days than good days! AMEN!!!

For my card,it's really clean and simple but just love the papers. Hope you all like it!

A couple of Christmas Layouts for a change

Well,this is what I've been working on lately. Scrapbook layouts for my Tops Group. They've asked me if I willing to redo the old albums and do the pics which they have tons of as I feel like it. Of course I couldn't say no,so when I feel up to it,I play with that. The old albums are hard to redo cause the pics we're cut around each person almost with squiggly scissors,some are a mess.

I'll try to do my best! It's fun though.

So here are some of last yr's xmas dinner. Get to use old stickers and embellies which I'll never use. It's for a great cause!!

Pink Butterfly Tree

I just had to show you my Butterfly Xmas Tree!
I really like how it turned out! I embossed the folder on some silver paper than sponged some pink pigment ink on it,added 2 diff size pearls here and there and some pink sissix butterfly die cuts from SU thanks to CHRIS,Thank you so much! I use them alot as you will see. Mounted the silver on black and the black on pink!
Tada,I think it's Beautiful!
Might make more of this diff colors.

Last night's SU class

Here's a punched up snowman card. Isn't he cute,he's all made with circles,ovals and punches. We also used what do you call that paper...where we embossed the snowflakes,anyways and for the for the snow we used embossing powder for the glitter.
I love snowmen~!!

And we made this kleenex box...it's too bad she didn't have a border embosser with snowflakes,we used one with flowers,but it doesnt' match the snowflakes at the bottom.


But it's still really nice!

Hi everyone!

This is a card I made yesterday afternoon when I said I was off to play. This is what came out. I like how it turned out.
The lamp post image is an Inkadinkado stamp I got at Michael's and the sentiment is SU Holiday Coll.
I just embossed the card base,used MS border punch for the inside of the card and sponged all the sides and stamped with
bordering blue.

I did my DH's xmas shopping today. I hope he'll be happy!
Except for one gift that I had to order,but it should be in next week,so plenty of time. He's so hard to buy for cause he says he doesn't need anything,but I did get something for his truck
so I know he will be happy with that.

So I leave you with this card and I'm off to bed maybe...

Rudolph says MERRY CHRISTMAS

Well it's already wednesday! Another month to
Christmas Eve...YIKES!!!!!!!!
Don't you just love this SU set from last year. The card will be another to add to my Xmas stack.
We made it last thursday at class and I really like how it turned out.

So last night was my Tops meeting which I always attend,I'm sure the pounds would come back on if I didn't go. It's a very wonderful weight loss support group. After my transplant I lost 17 pounds which I kept off since. So I lowered my goal of 10 pounds and still am good with all that.
So last night,I was telling the girls,I guess the old liver was so enlarged,it weighed over 10 pounds.
We had a good laugh!

Posted really early cause I couldn't sleep,that's a good thing I guess.

Who wants my migraine??

This will be a short post,been feeling kinda yucky! Went to bed with a massive migraine last night and in the middle of the night I got very nauses and was sick after taking my pills. I tried to not be sick,cause they say if I throw up less than 1/2 an hour after taking them,I should take them again. Well it was 22 minutes,and I didn't see any pills go through. So for this time,I didn't take them again. My migraine isn't as bad now,but still a bad headache. Oh well,I'll just try and sleep it off.

On to the card...it's one we made at our SU stamp class last thursday. I didn't do a nice job cutting the wh cs,but it turned out pretty good anyways.

Now I'm off to relax my head and try to get rid of it,the headadche not the head,lol!

Another Holiday Card

It's cold but sunny! The snow is here to stay! So with snowflakes in mind,I made another easy peasy card.
Used some a punch for the sentiment mounted on a doily,
mounted on a nestie which is over all the scrap papers and
added some snowflakes here and there.

Been playing with my Big Shot,hehe,I made some flowers and a milk carton which I can't figure out how to paste,lol.
I'll figure it out when i have more patience. I just came back from Michael's cause I had a balance on a gift card,and I bought a sissix xmas lights die cut,so I'll have to try that one now. Kids and their toys,hehe!

Easy Peasy Card

Happy Friday my friends!

Well,last night was SU class night,although this isn't a card we made there. I did make this card at home yesterday
afternoon. It's a simple card with the traditional xmas colors and I used a MS doily mounted on a plain circle. The tree stamp is from the Jolliest Time set (SU). Easy Peasy!

I got my BIG SHOT and some dies,so I'm off to play!!!!!

Rudolph again..

Good Day everyone,Friday that is! ALREADY!!!!

I went to my class last night,so will have some cards to post. And...I got my Big Shot and some templates so I'll def. will have to play with that this weekend! Can't wait!

We finally got some snow yesterday and I think it's here to stay. Well,we can't complain cause usually it's here at the end of October.

Couldn't sleep at 2am,so here I am posting and blurfing.
Great time to do that and it'll give me more time to play today,hehe! After I go back to bed that is.

Here comes Rudolph!

I made a fast Xmas card. Using scraps and made Rudolph with the Cricut,he's kinda cute.
The sentiment is from SU Frosty set and I used the MS icicle border punch.

I hadn't posted in awhile,been doing some cleaning,so then I rest. I've also been working on redoing the Tops photo album,it's a hard job cause whoever worked on it (since 1983)cut out pics in all these weird shapes so it makes it hard to work with. But I manage to make it somehow purty!!!

Did have a really good day yesterday though. Went for an hour walk with 2 of my girlfriends,so
that was really nice. Came home and made 2 cards.

Tonight,I'm going to SU xmas card night,we're making 5 different cards,so can't wait to see what I'm going to bring home. And oh,I get my Big Shot order tonight...just like xmas!!!!

Let it snow,Let it snow,Let it snow...

No snow yet??? I can't believe we still have above 0 temperatures here in the North! But it's ok,we'll take the beautiful weather.

My card today is one we made the other night at SU class.
I added some metal snowflake brads when I got home. I hoard so much stuff,I've had them for a couple of years,so time to use them. We popped up the snowman's head and aren't those little googlie eyes cute,the snowflake punch and scallop punch are SU.
I was able to enter it in the Winter Wonderland Challenge over at ABC Christmas Challenge,lots of beautiful cards to check out over there.

Sparkly & Bright!

Dancing Santas...is the card we made last night at my SU class. We used the Stampamajig to line up the Santas,as you see,I need practise with it.

But I will def use the one I bought months ago and haven't used it. I'm so bad!!!

So the weekend is upon us once again. I've been really tired again so don't know what's going on.
I don't see my dr. until Dec 1st,so until then,I putt putt along taking it easy.

But I do have a long project for Tops,they have asked me to go through all the old pics and make a scrap album. That'll be interesting!

THEY'RE DONE!!!

I'm done,all 30 of them! If you count them,there
are 29 on the pic,but one is drying up.
I will never mass produce something with glitter again! But I'm sure my Tops friends will enjoy them. I'm even ahead,our Xmas Dinner is Dec 14th. So I'm ahead,woohoo!

Now I can move on to diff things. My shakes are 95% gone which means I can color again.

It is amazing how my new liver is working,I Thank My Donor and his or her Family more than once a day I tell you! For the little stretching inside pain that I have,it is a very small price to pay. Thank You!

I have so many cards to make and not enough time!!!! Thank You cards,B'day cards,Xmas cards,Thinking of you cards....I'll just have to work more and take it one day at a time!

Easy Peasy Card

Hello friends! Hope you all had a terrific weekend! We sure did,went to see 3 hockey games of 2 of our great nephews. One of them is 13 and the other is 8 yrs old. So it's so nice to see them work so hard. It was great!
It's monday again,already a week into the month,
gee the time just flies by doesnt it.

Well my card for today is another simple easy peasy one. I used a Paisley CB in night of navy on top of the yellow cardbase,used a framed scrap in white to create the sentiment in a frame. The sentiment is SU Well Scripted and added some punched flowers and cut out a blue flower from an old gift bag that had it's days. So I cut out what was still good out of it. I like to recycle. Also added some bling,and voila!

Well,I made my Baby Shower card as I had said.I used The Flourishes set of Rock a bye baby.
Used CB dots folder on the cardbase,the pink and wh & blue dp.For the inside of the card I popped up the baby rattle & bottle so the easel card could stand up.
Added some stars and used some MS punches.

Hope the Mom to be will like it. I like how it turned out.

Oh worked on my 30 xmas cards last night at Paulette's,she even helped me color some of my images. Next big project like that,I will defenitely make diff design and images. It's getting boring 30 of the same. Oh well,live and learn,lol!

I had made this photo holder at one of our SU classes and for some strange reason never posted it. I must of had lots of material to post back then and was saving this project for a rainy day.

Well that was good,cause today I needed something to post,so this came in handy! It was fun to make and didn't take that long either. When I see all you great bloggers creating these fabulous diff projects,I always get so overwhelmed thinking,I can't do that!

Now I am willing to try anything,so I'm going to put that in my future plans,to try diff projects,if I fail,I will try until I succeed!!

So the card is pretty simple,I had to make a fast one cause I need it for tonight and there's just not enough time in a day. I'm working on my 30 xmas cards...cutting,coloring,border punching. Hopefully I'll be done soon.

Now I need to make some more girly cards for my fellow Tops peeps. A couple of them will be becoming KOPS very soon which means achieving their goal. That's a big celebration for those who know what Tops is all about. So I make them a special card and get them an angel pin to put on their achievement scarf. That club is what keeps my weight off so I like to encourage other members.

I need help!!!

While I was away for my transplant I had rec'd an email from Photobucket that there was a problem with my blogger pic or whatever,I'm so puter dummy when it comes to that. Bells and Boughs

I finally made a Christmas card! It's approaching to quickly and I think I'll go with this one to make for my Tops Pals,I'll need 30 of them,so it should be ok to mass produce.
What do you think?
I used the Bells and Boughs set from SU and so is the dp.I popped up the sentiment and used MS optic dot border punch and the image is on a nestie.

So I'm off to cut stamp for 29 more cards...it will be out of my hair though.

ON A HAPPY NOTE!!!
I got an email today from the Transplant unit to lower the dose on one of my anti rejection pills,hooray! Means things are always getting better! Life is wonderful! Thank You Lord!

What we made at SU class last night!

Oh shoot,I forgot to rotate my pic,sorry! But I've been waiting on hold to speak to someone at the Ministry of Transportation to get my driver's license back. IT'S ONLY BEEN 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES!!!!



We made 2 Halloween projects last night,it was so much fun. But I must admit,Paulette had to help me with this luminaire (I think that's what you call it). I had to finish the treat bag before hubby picked me up and I was running short of time. So she put the ribbon and glued the box together. Might as well say she did the project,lol.


Thanks Paulette!!! It turned out really cute!
I now have a Halloween decoration!

And guess what,I ordered the BIG SHOT MACHINE!!!! My husband said he wanted to make me gift,and to order it and I also ordered a couple of die cuts. Oh I can't wait!!!!!
HE'S SUCH A SWEETHEART!!!! I told him it will be my Christmas present!!!

So now I'm still waiting and until I reach someone,I'm going to tidy up my stamproom.Even though I haven't created much,it's a bit messy,so time to get organized and maybe tonight I'll make a card.

My costume for Tops...

Diane the butterfly! You can't see the makeup too well,but it's ok,cause it wasn't the greatest anyways. But it was all in fun. I'm not usually the type to get dressed up,so it's pretty good for me.



This is the long shot,lol. My hubby took the pic before I left,it's a pretty easy costume,I had borrowed the one piece outfit from a friend,added some bling on it,bought some wings and bee antennas cause I couldn't find butterfly ones.


And voila!
Going to a SU class tonight so will def have something to show tomorrow!

I found some colored images in a stack!

Well Good Tuesday Morning already!

I was going through some old images and found a few that we're already colored! BINGO,I HIT THE JACKPOT! Lol!
So I went with pink again because it was already colored in pink,my last 3 cards are pink,geese. I'm going to have to change colors soon.

Anyways,it was fun making it for no reason,Just Because I Care!
Tonight is my Tops Meeting and they asked that we wear a costume. Hmmmm....that's not one of my things to do,but hey,it's all fun right. So my girlfriend lent me a one piece black outfit which I put a few rhinestones on,I bought some beautiful butterfly wings and I will makeup my eyes to the extreme and that'll be my costume.
If it looks half decent I'll post a pic tomorrow!

Pearls Just For You!

Hey friends,how was your weekend?
Mine was great,I made another card,no stamping involved except the sentiment and the butterfly. Pretty easy peasy!

The sun was shining today,I didn't go for a walk though,my incision has been feeling weird the last 3 days.
I think I have to slow down and take it easy,something doesn't feel right,will have to make an appt. with the Dr. on monday. I'm sure it's nothing to be alarmed for but will see her just to make sure.

As for my card,the acc are in pink,but the picture was taken late in the day so it really doesn't look too pinkish.
Added some diff pearls here and there.
Looks alright and could be for any occasion.Oh and I also used CB folder on top of the pink cs.

I also put together some rubber stamp sets this afternoon,
10 of them to be exact...so I have lots of stamp sets to play with,just have to make time to play!

Could it be a card????

FINALLY A CARD!

My shakes were'nt as bad this morning so I colored this HM image. It's for a fellow Tops member,I hope she loves it,I know she'll love the colors,it's her favorite...PINK.

Well,things are still great except for a little pain in my abdomen. I think it's from me having more energy,so I do more and my muscles are soar.
It's all good,no complaints on my part!

I also made myself a note book which didn't take much to alter,so no use showing it. Then I made a Halloween Basket to bring to Tops and forgot to take a pic of it. What we'll do with it,everyone is to bring a healthy snack or treat and we'll draw it next tuesday,so I'll take a pic of it full of treats.

I think I'll play again this afternoon! I miss it so much,I'm off to put my pj's on so I'm comfy as can be and create as much as I can!!!!
